For Romania, it's meat jelly (raciture).

I've been told a lot of brits/euros don't like USA style country gravy. we put that shit on everything for breakfast

Yeah just sounds like something a farmers wife would make to fuel her families day of hard labour. Would be improved with cheese and herbs.
>>
>>21799573
it's really good. some people cook it with chunks of sausage. makes it a lot more dynamic of a flavor

name/trip-fagging has been scientifically confirmed to be the gayest thing in the universe, followed closely by actual homosexuality

I like this stuff
>>

I've always made it with the grease from spicy loose breakfast sausage, then mix it in to make it a meaty gravy on toast. Delicious breakfast if you're OK loading up big early.
>>21799587
This is high up there on my list of worst American foods, as an American. Basically any of the cold mayo-heavy bowl dishes, except potato salad which somehow gets away with it.
>>
>>21799578
I second that. Curry is just as fucking disgusting as the vile creatures that eat it.
>>
>>21799573
There is no hard labor on a modern farm

Huh? Shovelling horse poo, carrying food to livestock, etc. and especially if they don't have all the fancy machines other than field working machines.
>>
>>21799655
That's menial labor but not hard.

Not at all. You must be brown to think this. Also proper biscuits are made with buttermilk. You have never had a real biscuit.

I couldn't imagine doing it without including the meat.

From Brazil, it has to be buchada de bode. Kidney, liver, and some other organs from a goat. The smell alone is foul. I have no idea why people from the countryside of my home state like this dish.

Beuschel (German: [ˈbɔʏʃl̩] ) is a dish that is typically a ragout made from lungs and other organs, such as heart, kidneys, spleen, and tongue, from calf, beef, pork, or game.[1] It is often served with a sour cream sauce and bread dumplings.[1] It is a dish of Viennese cuisine but is widespread in all of Austria, Bavaria, and Bohemia.[1]

Squaw candy.
It's hot smoked salmon or steelhead, not cold like lox with a sweet glaze

The farmhands i.e. the actual laborers? I agree that the farm owners aren't working and ought to be relieved of their property (and maybe life), but don't go dissing the hardworking proles now, dude.

You don't make your gravy with the pan-drippings of whatever you're cooking?

Whenever I do a roast and take it out of the pan add the flour, milk, and a little extra of whatever herbs and spices I used to season the roast. Don't need butter because the drippings are hearty enough.
>>
>>21799902
If there was something to fill the gaps it would look a hundred times better.
Right now it looks like wrapped worms.

There's no shortage of badly textured dishes in the US and Mexico. One interesting sandwich I've heard of is a type of sub filled with an entire tamál.

a soup made from like a large ham joint or ham hock thats on the bone will basically naturally congeal and set when it goes cold like the OP meal.

so really pic related is the same as OP's food but when heated.

I'm guessing this is like haggis with better seasoning. I'd try it

I got tricked into eating these once, honestly they're not that bad.
