First time trying Ramen
I did not like it at all
>>
>>21799852
Did you eat it rare or well done?
>>
>>21799852
i had ramen exactly once in some random hole in the wall in chinatown and i feel like a crackfiend because i have no idea what they did to the chicken and broth to make it taste so god damn good
>>
That's great, honey
>>
>>21799883
MSG in the broth
>>
>>21799852
It's famine food. You have to be starving jap or brainwashed weeb to think it's high cuisine.
>>
>>21800041
maybe, but the chicken was also some of the most tender i've ever had.
it was honestly very nice, will go again one day
>>
>>21800100
You are a nig ramien noodles made fresh retarded idiot are like lasagna but differener
>>
>>21799852
Pho is superior.
>>
>>21800171
holy sh*t... you are like naruto in real life :o
>>
>>21799852 there are like 5 types of ramen so you have to try them all before saying you like or not
yeah pho is better and there's only one type of pho so you can judge on the first try >>21800213
>>
>>21799883
Because you have no standards and are poor
>>
>>21799852
The important thing is that you tried it and made up your own mind.
>>
>>21800259
>there's only one type of pho
completely fucking wrong
>>
>>21800100
>It's famine food.
In what famine did they have access to that many veggies and eggs, plus meat, plus noodles?
>>
>>21800854
A sliver of meat because that's all you're allowed, and filler food that will give you energy, but you'll be hungry again in an hour. You're filling up on noodles and broth. Boiling meat is the worst way to cook meat, but it's necessary for the toughest cuts, with the most nutrient loss, but at least some of it is still in the broth. Japanese have good health care but they aren't that healthy. They have teeth crowding(almost half the US has this too TBF), have hypertension from their high sodium diet, stomach cancer from being alcoholics, and rising diabetes from all the processed foods they eat that look like geometric shapes.
>>
>>21800879
Most ramen uses chashu, it's slow cooked pork belly, it's the farthest thing from a "tough" cut, but flyover retards wouldn't know that
>>
>>21800100
hilarious how /ck/ foodlets say that about pretty much every non-western dish out there
>>
>>21800952
Then why boil, my bad, simmer chashu then? you focus on semantics and ignore the rest.
>>
>>21800965
Pho is the one boiling their meat, ramen is using cooked meat
>>
>>21800751
okay then tell me smart one...
the only difference in pho is the meat. ramen has like 5 different broth types
>>
>>21799852
too much noodles, too little meat. broth is always weak as hell.
soyeggs are genuinely horrendous i don't know anyone who likes those things. say good bye to $20.
go to a random hole in the wall pho place and they load you up with meat and rich as fuck broth, all on the cheap.
>>21800100
>It's famine food
that goes for 99% of what japs eat on the daily. it's all tasteless ww2 slopbowl struggle meals.
>>
>>21801126
>ww2 slopbowl struggle meals.
same as italian food
>>
>>21799852
What restaurant did you go to? How much stars does it have on Google reviews? Ramen is a very trendy food OP and a lot of restaurants you go to will give you a shitty product. I say at least give it one more shot and go to a reputable place. Alternatively, you could buy some Indomie or Mama noodles or even the spicy korean brand and add some soft boiled egg green onion kimchci and some type of meat/fish. Raw salmon is one of my favorite toppings you slice it thin and add it after cooking the broth will cook the fish.
>>
All soup noodles are perhaps the most overrated class of food
>>
Ramen > pho
Pho is good but too basic.
>>
>>21799852
looks ike shit
>>
>>21800213
pho isnt even the best viet soup, its bun bo hue
>>
Heh... That trendy food people like? ... It's actually SHIT!
>>
>>21800879
You sound like a fat fuck.
>>
>>21802126
Meat doesn't make you fat.
>>
>>21802234
If you eat it by the kilo, it sure does.
Count your calories, Fatty McFatfat
>>
>>21800100
>It's famine food
>or brainwashed weeb
nigga have you seen British "cuisine"? Now that's real famine food.
>>
>>21802241
You'll get tired of eating meat around 1.5-lbs. You can probably eat bread and pasta until you're bloated.
>>
>>21802252
Because that's more than double the amount recommended by doctors.
You should be more than satiated eating that much of anything, if you haven't permanently distended your stomach.
>>
>>21800965
Here's how ramen is generally made so you can educate yourself:

>>
>>21802315
good video
>>
>>21801002
nta but pho pretty famously has two broth types, chicken and beef. it's not just the same broth with a different protein. and outside of that there are other viet noodle soups, sour pho, bun bo hue, bun rieu. i can agree that under a single umbrella though ramen has more regional varieties
>>
>>21800213
pho doesnt taste anything.
