Do germans actually eat this shit? This is the driest, crumbliest, most flavourless garbage bread I've ever had the misfortune of putting in my mouth. Even american sugarbread is better at being bread than this bullshit.

there's a german woman eating it right on the package retard

Who the fuck eats bread like that? She's not "eating", she's sucking out the mayo.

Was just wanting to buy this, saw YT vid in Germany how they made it. Is it crisp or mushy? Sounds interesting.

Imagine cooked whole grain compressed into bread and sliced. It is pretty good with the right ingredients.
>>
I've had this. the texture isn't that bad but the flavor is a bit too sour for me

Eating whole grain bread is purely done to feel better about eating something healthy. Noone actually likes to eat it.

There isn't enough information in that photo to make an accurate determination that she is eating it, though. Ignore the fact that I have yet to see any proof that she is of German ethnicity, she could be doing a variety of other actions to the sandwich instead of eating it. To me, for example, it seems more of an accurate description to say she kissing it. She could also have had her lips glued to the sandwich some sort of grand, odd - or maybe Kafkaesque - prank which she could be appreciating, judging by her expression. Alternatively, she could be forcing some substance in her mouth onto the sandwich, like how a baby bird is fed by it's mother. What she might be pumping onto the sandwich, or even into it, as we don't know she isn't playing a human-looking creature with a proboscis, I cannot dare suggest, as like the rest of the image there is not enough information provided for me to make a reasonable conclusion. No, I think it's rather presumptuous for you to presume, simply because it is a sandwich, that the woman on the packaging there is undeniably eating it.

Because you're buying some retarded garbage that looks like a single slice vacuum sealed instead of a fresh loaf of bread from the baker.

I don't like it much either, but I wouldn't call it flavorless. You probably chose a bad brand.

Rugbrød tastes amazing if you bake it yourself, or get it from a good bakery. The brands in the stores is too sour for me.
Can be eaten with practically anything, but if you toast it first it will become even better.

I toast it and butter it, prior to adding toppings. It's quite good.
