ive been trying to find a substitute for ground beef that doesnt have terrible mouthfeel and i can make without cooking anything. i want to have nachos in the middle of the night without waking up my roommate who sleeps just next to our kitchen. is this an issue anyone has ever had before?? if so, any advice??

Anon, just cook ahead and freeze. There's no substitute for beef lol Make a big batch of seasoned beef.Figure out about how much you'd want for a portion of nachos and separate that into baggies. Come time for late night nachos, sploot the beef baggies into a glass dish and microwave until edible
