COCAINE!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that was salt, correct, however, sugar is a macronutrient.

I understand sodium is an electrolyte, however the human body can handle 1kg+ carbohydrate a day, when even a couple tablespoons of salt can be deadly.
>>
>>21817374
a couple tablespoons would taste pretty bad and you'd not want to consume it
>>
>>21817388
Yes, because it would be deadly, your tastebuds are there also to pre-examine what you are eating, bitter, unpleasant tastes, usually indicate poison (coffee beans, cacao, aspirin etc.)

salt is not bad for you but eat too much and your brain tells you to stop.

your brain will never tell you, you are eating too much sugar. we never evolved to eat lots of sugar. sugar was a very scarce part of food. prehistoric fruits were/are no where near as sweet as modern fruits. honey was hard to come buy and you had to be willing to get stung to get some. even then you might go months or years before you got more. so humans never evolve the ability to process excess sugar. long term sugar is the single worst thing you can eat next to alcohol. sugar is more addictive than cocaine, and people will ignore all advice to avoid it, and come up with any reason to keep eating it.

if you can't give up drugs/alcohol you can't give up sugar.

don't give me the "mu drinking booze for da taste" you are lying. yes even you, and anyone who replies otherwise. YOU ARE LYING. to yourself and everyone.

You are mentally ill.

How do you know? The hunter-gatherers we see today are eating large amounts of honey beyond what modern recommendations say should be the limit. Some groups are getting half their calories or even more from honey at times, and even when they eat less it's still making up a substantial part of their regular diet. They aren't going very long without honey.

The issues with sugar today are more from the various reasons causing obesity which causes problems with sugar digestion. But it's not just limited to sugar and blaming the sugar itself seems inaccurate. Athletes can consume lots of sugar and not have any issues too.

There are a lot of complicated reasons as to why people become obese and have blood sugar issues but it's typically not the sugar itself causing that. There have even been doctors who put their patients on diets with unlimited access to fruit and juice and refined sugar and they end up losing weight and reversing their diabetes.

It's simple and well understood: high blood sugar levels directly cause lipogenesis. Since you need both carbohydrates and fat, it's easiest to say "stop eating sugar".

I drink booze for the taste. I also have gone quite easily for multiple months without booze and on a minimum carb diet, not even because I needed to lose weight but out of solidarity, you sanctimonious idiot.
