By far one of the biggest tastelet filters of all time.
>>
>>21818185
there’s nothing I can do about it, god just decided to make me a soap guy. that said, it’s not that bad and I won’t turn something down because it has cilly in it
>>
>>21818185
you eat babies?
>>
>>21818185
This herb just tastes Mexican to me. And all Mexican things taste bad.
>>
>>21818199
it's good for your skin, you filthy anti-semite
>>
for most people the problem is dill, the problem with dill is that it tastes specifically of dill not soap or urine just dill
>>
>>21818317
kissin my pickle these bitches know the dill
>>
>>21818185
People who don't like cilantro baffle me. I would think the icky flavor would be something you could grow to get past and acquire. Someone disprove my theory, because I simply adore cilantro. I could nearly include it as a topping on nearly everything, much as green onions, really.

i hate the texture not the taste
>>

It's a "tastebuds wired to percieve it wrong on a genetic level" issue, if you have it cilantro will taste like the ambient air in public swimming pools and toilets.
>>
I thank God every day that he didn't make me a genetic fuck up that can't eat cilantro or milk. Damn it feels good to be white.
>>
>>21818185
nothing to do with being picky it's genetic. troll.
>>
>>21818402
it's people who can drink milk that are genetic fuck ups. and yes I can drink milk. you aren't supposed to drink milk after the age of about 2.
>>
>>21818408
>genetic fuckbup

its called being the next step of human evolution

>you aren't supposed to drink milk passed the age of two.

Maybe you aren't. I'm a milky man.
>>
>>21818408
By your same logic, animal husbandry wouldn't exist and we'd all only be vegans and have teeth not befitting carnivores. We'd all be undernourished vegan bred babies with shitty teeth. There is nothing wrong with dairy and a lot right with it.

genetics does not equal tastelet.
enjoying mayonnaise = tastelet.
>>
>>21818317
dill tastes good.
sweet pickle eaters are to be eugenic'd.
>>
>>21818334
>something you could grow to get past and acquire
why would anybody want to do something like that with anything instead of just choose things that they like the taste of?
life isn't about challenging yourself to enjoy suffering, anon.
>>
>>21818408
>you grow out of being able to stomach things
anon...
>>
>>21818185
It tastes like soap to me but in a good way, so I eat and enjoy it
>>
>>21818185
>By far one of the biggest tastelet filters of all time.

Sick baby coriander soap?
I don't think that's really widespread enough to be used as a filter OP.
>>
>>21818185
You cant blame these people , its genetic
Did you know that if you think cilantro tastes like soap, they can look at your DNA and tell that youre a faggot?
>>
>>21818185
I kinda taste the soapiness, but it's not very strong and it doesn't really bother me. I typically don't add cilantro in anything unless the recipe already calls for it, but I don't mind if what I'm eating has cilantro in it or not.
>>
>>21818201
That's exactly how I feel about cumin. Once you add cumin to meat it will always taste like taco meat no matter what else you do to it.
>>
>>21818345
Me too, these absolutely ruin whatever they're in, it just feels like having unwanted bits of debris in my food.

Best culinary filter imaginable

Cilantro is the same thing as Coriander
>>
>>21818364
I can’t stand mint. I don’t mind the herb excepting the actual mint oil itself which is used for breath specifically because it overpowers everything.
It’s not the menthol sensation. Wintergreen is more tolerable, peppermint and cheap Dominican whore wrigleys spearmint the worst.

I can’t fucking stand mint. Only flavor I don’t like. Just imagine some trash stink vagina whore smacking blue “ultra mint” gum or something
>>
>>21818546
My buddy adds cuman to his pulled pork rub. Taste like strait shit, I don't want a Mexican pulled pork.
>>
Cilantro is one of the staple ingredients for much eg Mexican cooking, etc., so the Hispanics don't have a problem with it. Is this soap thing a white people thing? Is this like some races are lactose intolerant, Asians can't process alcohol, etc. Are whites not able to process flavour?
>>
>>21819120
I like to add Rouran myself
>>
>>21819117
I don't like mint either, always reminds me of toothpaste.
>>
>>21818521
Science is amazing
>>
>>21818402
white people are the most likely demographic to have the cilantro soap gene
>>
>>21818185
I have the gene but like coriander. Soap tastes kinda good too.
>>
I do not have the retard gene.
Coriantro tastes fresh, zesty, colourful, full of life and has a gentle zing-ting-tang warmth to it that elevates almost any fucking thing you put coriantro on.
>>
>>21818185
I used to dislike it but its something you have to get used to. if you train your tastebuds well enough it just tastes like a spice with citrus notes.
>>
>>21819117
what a bizarre thing to obsess over.
>>
>>21818546
>the roman empire condiment upsets me
oh nose!
>>
>>21819117
weirdly spearmint (gum etc flavour even if it says peppermint) has a different smell/taste than every other mint plant
anyone who enjoys carvon needs their tastebuds shot
>>
>>21818185
The one insane conspiracy theory I genuinely believe in is that the cilantro soap gene is not real. I'm not a geneticist or a bio major or whatever, but there's no way that 1: it's tied to a singular, unified gene or 2: it's not just people being autistic as fuck picky eater annoying retards
I've never met a well adjusted eater who dislikes cilantro. I'll go on dates and the only girls who hate cilantro are turbo autists who eat literally nothing eating disorder ass or turbo autistic "girl dinner" birds who peck at plain deli meat and unfunky cheese slices.
If you tell someone their actions are a fundamental part of their biology, they'll never change or challenge that aspect of themselves. It's easier to convince superstitious astrology retards to change than people who lap up pop science science like dogs. A society which believes itself to be scientific and rational will not have free, intelligent citizens but hordes of hogs and cattle who use the popular conception of science as a means to justify their hogcattle superstitions and nueroticisms. THERE IS NO WAY CILANTRO TASTES BAD YOU HOT AUTISTIC WOMAN STOP BEING A LITTLE BABY
>>
>>21818185
Coriander smells like stinkbugs, but taste great in dishes.
>>
what does cilantro taste like for normals
I assume parsley or something
>>
>>21822591
It tastes fresh and citrusy. It isn't anything like parsley really. The taste is rather unique.
>>
>>21818408
>it's people who can drink milk that are genetic fuck ups.
indo europeans conquered everything they saw until they hit massive mountain ranges because they drank milk and the people they conquered didn't. turns out a high fat, high protein diet makes you healthier and stronger than a diet of nearly all carbs
>yes I can drink milk
X

cope harder turdie, lactose tolerance is strictly better than intolerance
>>
>>21818185
>>21818334
it's caused by a genetic marker in your dna that allows you to taste for Aldehydes. It's something some people's ancestor's evolved to have to keep them from eating poisonous stuff. You can't 'get over it' or 'get use to it'.

>>21820381
wow, an actual retard on this board.
>>
>>21820381
>I've never met a well adjusted eater who dislikes cilantro
My mother dislikes it but she's an excellent cook and isn't picky at all. Everyone else in my family enjoys cilantro, though.
>>
>>21820381
I applaud your contempt for other humans and their fakery but in this particular case it still tastes awful to me
if it's dried or cooked cilantro or if it's just a minor ingredient it's not something worth complaining about, but fresh cilantro in a salad or something I just can't deny it tastes like dishrag water. I like basically every other food that isn't outright hazing designed to make people laugh when the foreigner pukes.
>>
>>21818185
i don't have the gay ass imaginary 'muh soap' gene
but i also don't really like it unless it's very very finely chiffonaded and used sparingly
if it's big enough of a piece that you can identify what it is, it's too big and will overpower the bite
>>
>>21818433
sweden and fingolia is literally filled with somalians my dude.
>>
>>21818417
>we'd all only be vegans and have teeth not befitting carnivores.
cavemen ate mostly meat and berries.
unless you mean early mammals but that's debatable on whether we really evolved from them
>>
>>21818185
I refuse to belive this is real. It's just Midwesterners that don't like exotic tasting things and respond with "yes" when you ask them if it tastes like soap. They don't know what soap tastes like. No one tastes soap. They don't like it because it is different and highly floral. The floral note is the "soap" to them.
>>
>>21823090
find a moldy bar rag, wring it out in a glass and drink it
