>Want to eat less fish because of Nature >Omega-3s in Flax Seeds >They come packaged in non-recyclable plastic bags
>>21822032I respect your values but nothing short of military intervention is going to stop China from overfishing the oceans to the point of biosphere collapse. so just enjoy your fish bro. I know you want to feel like you can make a difference but the reality is you're powerless.
>>21822041Hmmm... what if I wind the plastic fibres into cordage, weave it into some baskets, and then bring it to market to sell to prospective buyers?
>>21822041Oh h*ck! What if I get out my old 1920s iron that my grandmother used to use when preparing her husband's laundry, some wax paper (this is non-recyclable, so I will need to find another crafts use for this), and iron the plastic bags into a tightly-moulded ball, which I can then feed into my 3-D printer, to make little figurines of Marge Simpson, which I can then proffer to the consumer on www.etsy.com's marketplace?
>>21822032if you are a man, you don't want the flaxseed omega-3s anywayyou need DHA and EPA. you can get it from algae, which is where fish can get it too
>>21822098It's been a bit since I watched a few dozen YT videos on the subject, but doesn't your body synthesize some of the vital Omega oils from the compounds found in flax, walnuts, chia? There are also Omega-3s in milk and eggs apparently.
>>21822066>mouldedAre you some faggot Brit or something? Spellcheck should have informed you of your error.
>>21822121It did, but I didn't care. It was an intentional joke, on my part.
>>21822032He pierced the gay ear
>>21822108>doesn't your body synthesize some of the vital Omega oils from the compounds found in flax, walnuts, chiaYes but it's a small percentage. Not that it makes the omega 3 in them bad or worthless but it may not be providing enough EPA and DHA specifically. I'm not sure about eggs but milk also has ALA for omega 3 which is converted to EPA and DHA at a small percentage.
>>21822254I settle my debts to nature by eating a survival amount of meat and fish, composting food scraps, working hard every day, buying Organic or sustainably caught, locally-grown, learning to grow my own food as well... At some point I'll catch my own fish, but every lake in town has asphalt around or near it, leaching chemicals into the water, thanks to bucktoothed Boomers, so for now I have to rely on what they send over from Alaska...
>>21822261I don't like eating fish so I just take algae oil sometimes which is the same thing fish has, the omega 3 in fish comes from algae and it's not unique to fish. I've never eaten algae but I like seaweed stuff a lot, I wish sea vegetables were more common and cheaper.
>>21822265In my store the Organic seaweed came packaged in a lot of non-recyclable plastic, not to mention non-recyclable silicone dehumidifying pellets.Algal oil, flax oil, veganism generally, are all experimental things... we don't know what's going on, and what scientist or nutritionist can you even trust any more these days? What is the RDA for antioxidants (cancer-fighting chemicals)? It's not even listen on nutrition labels. We're just guinea pigs in their eyes. What's worse: industrial agriculture killing trillions and billions of insects and small animals with pesticides and the combine harvester, or eating 1 fish a day to satisfy your survival needs? Not to mention all the food you eat has to be trucked across the country, or the ocean, to get to you, polluting Nature every step of the way. Yet we can't all just become monks and let Tyrone take our wives...
