Whenever I'm ill, I can usually only stomach grapes. What do you eat to nurse yourself back to health?

whiskey

Sick?
you sound like a sissy.
>>
soup because i'm not some sort of dionysus wannabe
>>
Bananas and apples are good too but usually a bit too much when I'm incapacitated by a migraine.

Fried duck.

A constant stream of hot cheesecake pieces

Porridge-style foods
So like straight up oatmeal, rice porridge, congee made with egg. Hot, thick, soup

Really? That sounds like a monumentally bad idea. Grapes are arguably the unhealthiest fruit there is. There's a reason they make wine out of it. I highly suggest you expand your horizons. To literally anything. Strawberries?

Both of those are surprisingly unhealthy. Just relative to their reputation. And bananas are surprisingly hard on the digestive system like heartburn and stuff.
>>
*and nausea. I think bananas are very surprisingly not good for nausea. I woulda thought it'd he the exact opposite but its really not. So generally bananas are not something you wanna be eating when youre sick.

My only source of nutrition when I am sick is tea with honey.

McDonald's

They've never made me feel worse.
Can you go into more detail on why they are bad for you?

Just generally the sugar. Its insanity level sugar. Relatively speaking. Again its not a coincidence that booze is made from it. Unhealthy alcohol comes from an unhealthy fruit.

I assume you're just after the water. And the convenience. So what about watermelon? It ain't called watermelon for nothing. But of course its not as convenient as grapes.

I dont think strawberries have as much water as grapes but theyre like insanity level healthy. They're seriously like alien type shit. From the way they grow and just everythjng. There's a lot of weird shit going on with strawberries. And its all good.

Bananas were one of the better pukes I've experienced ngl. Not as acidic so my throat didn't hurt after and I could still breathe through my nose.

But yeah, not great if you want to avoid it, only if you just want to get it over with.

>Both of those are surprisingly unhealthy.
no they aren't

>And bananas are surprisingly hard on the digestive system like heartburn and stuff.
i find it's true with apples as well. both can give me a stomachache sometimes but only if i eat them raw, i never have an issue if they're cooked

>Grapes are arguably the unhealthiest fruit there is.
"the unhealthiest fruit" lol, even if that's true it doesn't make it bad. "the unhealthiest fruit" is still good for you.

>There's a reason they make wine out of it.
what's the reason for that? people also make cider from apples and pears which is pretty much the same thing as wine. that doesn't make them unhealthy. you could make wine from strawberry juice even if it's lower alcohol, it would still work.
>>
I can't remember the last time I was sick but I don't remember eating anything different when I was.

appels

If you have a fever and are sweating a lot, I recommend soup with very soft boiled potatoes, maybe some sort of chicken soup, and high grain fiber bread to dip into it. That and lots of water will keep dehydration away, so you'll feel better and recover sooner
