Why don't vegans lean into the idea that they want people to eat like peasants? We've all heard this nonsense conspiracy theory about the WEF et al trying to turn people gay or whatever. Regardless, the masses are stupid and need to be forced to stop eating meat. Just between you and me of course, we don't need to explicitly tell regular people they are morons, it's just that they are and we need to make decisions for them.Enter, the peasant diet. Peasants didn't eat meat because they couldn't afford it. But they lived long-ish lives. We could sell the idea that Henry the 8th was big and fat and stupid while his peasants were fit and lean.
>>21824198In 3 days i am going to say the N-word. I wish you all luck in trying to stop me
>>21824201What n-word would that be
>>21824205Nougat.
Food is getting expensive and retards here recommend eating fucking rice daily when that shit is peasant food.>>21824205Let's just say, it wouldn't be very ni-ce of him to say it
>Peasants didn't eat meat because they couldn't afford it.Source?Peasants literally lives their lives farming. They had plenty of animals and especially animal products
>>21824215Source is my bumhole, into which you can insert your tonguePeasants didn't eat a chicken because it gave them eggs. They didn't eat a cow because it gave them milk.
>>21824221And what do you think they did with the excess males? Or the females that stopped laying eggs and making milk?
>>21824224And how often would that happen. What percentage of the time do you think peasantry would have a useless chicken that they could cook and eat
>>21824234>peasants didn't eat meat>well they actually ate meat but it wasn't every day!I don't know how often peasants are meat, I'm not a farmer. You've been exposed as talking our of your ass so I'm taking a big shit on your thread and leaving*braaaaap*
>>21824237Yes but what percentage of the time do you think peasants would have had meat
>>21824240Idk probably once or twice a month, maybe more if they were good at meat preservation. And I think they would be, considering preservation has been practiced in various forms by just about every culture since prehistory
>>21824240They are fish and bacon year round. Bread was their staple carb and vegetables when they were in season. Peasants didn’t keep cows as they didn’t have the pasture but most of them kept small vegetable gardens.
You really think the gen pop is gonna take well to being called peasants and should eat peasant food?
>>21824198peasants ate:porkeggsmilkbuttercheesechicken
>>21824234chickens only lay eggs for a couple of years.when cows and bulls got too old they got et.
>>21824276It would be nearer to the truth
>>21824198>nonsense conspiracy theoryvegans like to pretend that plants aren't living creatures as well.
>>21824323Try again, dipshit.
>>21824302That doesn't mean they'd take it well.
>>21824198Because even peasants drink milk. Vegans are just vegetarians who think ignoring the basic biology followed by literally all mammals somehow makes them more moral.
>>21824198this woman are like a peasant for a day and she GAINED weight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZIN_LDkreE
>>21824323Why do you go out of your way to make it obvious that you're an idiot?
>>21824354>>21824561>"plants aren't living."anons...
>>21824198We will become like peasants and not eat meat... But oh the peasant non meat like peasant bread was much more nutrient dense than out bread :( and they had raw milk while we will drink shit milk or even soy milk :(
>>21824614we've all heard enough from you.
>>21824550Well yeah, during a good year. But what happens when there's a famine or a disaster? The starvation and death in the Medieval world was caused by bad years and crops. Today if there's a bad rice year in Japan, they simply import rice from America where it was a good year for rice production. Now if Britain's beef supply is hit by a horrible disease, they cull the herd and import beef from Canada and Australia. Prices tick up a notch worldwide, the proletariat complain about their cheeseburger prices and a few guys in Tokyo, London and New York make a bunch of money on the commodity exchanges.
>>21824198>the masses are stupid and need to be forced to stop eating meat.fuck off WEF >>>/pol/
>>21824659yes that is how modern peasants eat. unless they live in a 3rd world cunts like venezuela ,where they all starve and freeze to death whenever oil prices drop below 90 bucks a barrel.
What I find most telling about this post is how culty vegans are as evidenced by the fact that the question was basically "how do vegans recruit more" instead of just, you know, living as a vegan on their own. It's just implied that they try to recruit. Vegetarians aren't like this are they?
Agents of the demiurge are nervous because they know the end is coming. I will not live in the pod, I will not eat the bugs.
>>21824550Did she do historical research on how much a peasant would eat? I don't think so.But ironically, that is exactly what should happen. Medieval peasants did hard labour, they needed to eat. A modern person who sits in an office all day and eats such that he doesn't gain weight eats less than a medieval peasant.
>>21824215PRIOR to the advent of preservation via refrigeration, most food was made from the field to the table manner. Sometimes they had it in baskets in a pantry but their only two ways of preserving was pickling and salting and even that only works for so long. The amount of time and effort it takes to butcher an animal and put it on a plate back then was not worthwhile unless royalty was compensating you.
>>21824198>But they lived long-ish livesNigga what? The lifespan of a peasant on average was 20-30 years less than a noble.
>>21824943>The amount of time and effort it takes to butcher an animal and put it on a plate back then was not worthwhile unless royalty was compensating you. What is this retardation? They absolutely ate meat, either fresh, or dried, or smoked, or salted, or boiled and covered in fat for storage. And it didn't all go to the richer classes either (though how much the average peasant would actually get overall would vary a lot.)
ITT: OP doesn't know what a peasant actually is
All the science suggests that eating no meat is possible with minor supplements, and eating little meat (like the kind that could be environmentally friendly sourced from marginal lands, hunting and feeding of food production leftovers) is perfectly healthy. Our modern mass animal keeping practices are purely for luxury.
>>21824550>Gained weight >After a dayWhat a retarded statement, your weight can fluctuate 5-10 pounds with relative ease. She could have used a little too much salt (which she probably did because she was eating preserved meat or some shit idk I'm not watching this clickbait garbage) and easily "gain weight" that way.
>>21824208white rice was historically the food of nobility
>>21824201Do you really need a 3 day buildup to say the nigga-word?
>>21824943Are you utterly fucking retarded? When do you think pickling, sausages, fermentation, drying, and dozens of other food preservation methods were invented? Methods that we still use to this fucking day despite having access to refrigeration? Do you think people in the past just threw farm animals away because they couldn't be arsed to bucher them? Some of you retards have fallen so hard for modernist propaganda you believe people barely lived at all before the industrial revolution
>>21824198Nope. I eat meat every single day and I'm not going to ever stop for you or anybody. Righteous vegan faggot.
>>21824943That's not true. My great grandparents lived on a farm with no electricity and they preserved meat by storing it submerged in fat, which kept oxygen out. You're not bright. Maybe some meat blood in your system would help your brain.
>>21824198Peasants ate animal products though, plus fish depending on region. Plus their diets were notably more unhealthy than the previous hunter gatherers who ate meat more often.
>>21824221What did the pigs give them?
>>21824198Medieval peasants were noticably shorter and weaker than the nobility of the time, primarily because they ate less meat, and had less reliable access to food in general. (Note less meat; not no meat). And Henry the 8th is a really bad example. He was a very strong and athletic man in his younger days, and only got fat after a nasty jousting accident (whole damn horse fell on top of him) gave him a lingering injury that prevented him from exercising as much.
>>21824550Doesn't count because asians aren't real people
