The store has 6 different brands of TVP (soy curls/bits/crumbles), and every single one reports different nutrients, even though the ingredients list only "Soybean" for all of them. They range from 0 carbs to 33carbs, on the same serving size. What the fuck is this shit, just how inaccurate are these labels?I saw that and went to check on other foods, and wouldn't you know, sunflower seeds' also varied a lot.

Never tried these because I don't wanna deal with with roomates/family asking me what that is
>>21827962It's very nice, I especially like them lightly steamed so they're still chewy. The macros are perfect (if I am to believe the label).
>>21827977I mostly want to try them to make some stews, since I don't really eat meat at home anymore, like goulash and Japanese curry.I'm not a schizo, but sometimes I feel like there's such a thing as too much soy in my diet, lol.
>>21827988They go well on anything, as they have almost no flavor on their own.The thing to know is to cook them how you like them, there's a state for chewy, crispy, or neither.Might be just me but I eat it as cereal replacement, fucking love the crunch on the crumbles.
>>21827781>Contains the whole beanAh, so particularly toxic. Yum.
