Did you eat Child Abuse Cuisine during your childhood?
ironically we were too poor to afford premade food
nigga you left me on my back i dont owe you nothing.
>>21834177>ironically we were too poor to afford premade foodThis was also my experience. We didn't have shit and my parents made just barely enough to disqualify us from food stamps. We ate beans, potatoes and pasta a lot.
we were too rich to stoop to premade food
>>21834201why do people like that even have kids just to make them live one notch above a hobo
>>21834213almost every child ever born on earth was unplanned
>>21834216they happened by cum in a pussy which has been a well known cause of children for a while now. hard to call it unintentional
>>21834134That's a fairly small amount of Child Abuse Cuisine for an average sized child, I'd say?
>>21834229people have done various methods of birth control throughout history but invariably they all have a failure rate or user error. also most first time parents are basically children themselves who cognitively don't understand risk or consequence
>>21834235>also most first time parents are basically children themselves who cognitively don't understand risk or consequenceHence why millennial parents stuck IPads under their kids noses and called it parenting
>>21834177my father made me saffron rice with hotdogs
>>21834213>/r/childfreeGo back
I asked my mom for one of these once and didn't even like it. I'm glad I was raised by a parent whose idea of a lazy supper is still taking 20 minutes to fry a pork chop with some minute rice and frozen vegetables.
>>21834134No my mom would do shit like a single baked potato for dinner for me, no sides. Or it would be those just add water soup cups. A lot of times she made nothing at all. It was never at the table except for Christmas. I'm not sure if it was her general resentment of our needs or trying to keep us from weighing to much, She always beamed when people would talk about her naturally skinny kids, but she also refused to buy us basic hygiene items or other needs. They weren't that poor; they owned a house, she had an inheritance that she never emptied to care for us, and they bought mid-shelf wine and too much crap at TJMaxx.
>>21834134There was something about the marketing that worked on me as a kid, and I would always demand these if I saw them in the store. I’m on the rare occasion we got them, they were horrendous and wouldn’t want to eat it. At some point I knew they were gross but I wanted my parents to buy them anyway.
Never actually had one but always low key wanted to them based on the commercials
>>21834134Child abuse seems a bit harsh a description but that really is alltogether too much corn
>>21834435It was the same for me and my friends. When it was lunch time and some kid pulled out his Kid Cuisine or Lunchable, everyone got jealous. Meanwhile, everybody else had a lunch handmade by their parents which we all treated as inferior, for some reason. Kids are fucking stupid man. So easily tricked. I'm seeing it in real time now with my nephews and nieces. They "don't like" hamburgers from anywhere other than McDonald's, but I just kept the packaging so they thought homemade burgers and fries was a McDonald's meal. They ate it and enjoyed it. I love them, but they're fucking idiots.
My mum was an alcoholic hippy artist so, whilst I was never fed frozen tv meals, I often wished I had.
>>21834629Yeah those companies are really good at marketing. I remember trading all kinds of great homemade foods for a tiny sliver of Lunchable as a kid, I had a whole Lunchable as an adult and it was just meh and unsatisfying.
>>21834435Same here. My parents were divorced and my mom would mostly feed me frozen or canned slop, but these weren't allowed, I think because she considered them too expensive. At dad's house, he had more money and was often drinking, so I could convince him these were worth it. I fucking hated the brownies and that made up like 50% of the calories. Probably why I was such a skinny kid.
>>21834134Occasionally, and it was a treat
>>21834229you're a virgin.
I want to say it was a white box, two slices of chicken breast, piccata sauce, and can't remember if it came with a side. The microwave container was also whitethat was the only tv dinner we had in the 90s and i can't find a picture of it
>>21834943There was no chicken piccata tv dinner in the 90s with a white box and tray. You're imagining things.
>>21834943That was Lean Cuisine. I remember that dish.
Don't think we had this particular slop in Canada but I ate a lot of other child abuse cuisine (I asked for it)I always asked for lunchables but I really only wanted the candy, I'd eat the cheese and crackers but wouldn't touch the unidentifiable meat product
>>21834213shalom
>>21834994That meat product was the best part of lunch on fridays (pizza one). Make the three little pizzas with sauce and cheese, eat one at a time or stack all 3then savor the artificial pepperoni, so much better than pepperoni i've had since
Yeah but we just called it my mother's cooking back then
>>21834997My lunch was a margarine sandwich. Two pieces of burnt sliced white bread with store brand "butter" spread in the middle. I washed it down with warm water from the fountain.
>>21835001it was only on fridays because it costs the same as having lunch the rest of the week
>>21834629>which we all treated as inferior, for some reason.kids absolutely love novelty food and it's hard to get more novel than lunchables, kid cuisine, and happy meals
>>21834629Not true. I hated McDonald's burgers as a kid and liked Burger King burgers way more but I hated Burger King fries and much preferred McDonald's fries. That was based purely on taste.
>>21834134>starch>starch>starch>water and starch>12g shit-tier low bioavailability protein>water and starch
>>21835019As a kid, hated BK fries, they're not terrible now.Wendys went way downhill with "fresh cut sea salt" (we didn't skin the whole potato and the fries are a little slimmer)
>>21835056Oh yeah, I hated Wendy's the most as a kid. Didn't like the burger at all and the fries were limp and mushy. I did like the packaging a lot more than McDonald's or Burger King though. The classic yellow and red 90s Wendy's was very pleasing to my eye.
>>21835056bk used to have great fries until they switched to the modern ones
>>21834177LOL! POORFAG BTFO
>>21834177Same but I begged my mom for one of these kid cuisines and had to pretend to like it.
>>21835062No way Jose. Their fries were trash in the 90s. They had a weird taste.
>>21834286it's always been the case really. before ipads it was television. before television it was simple neglect. when I was a kid I wasn't allowed in the house until the street lights came on. back then you were expected to raise yourself. it's the same with ipads now, but ipads are just more psychologically damaging.
>>21835073I'm talking about the fast fry iteration that happened in the late 90's and went till the late 00's iirc.
>>21834997it's so nuts that some kids ate crackers for lunch
>>21835244last*
>>21834296not everybody that chooses to not have kids is miserable like you are
>>21835268>chooses Lmao nice cope lard ass
>>21835270>projecting
I ate frozen food for dinner 6 days of the week and once a week one of my parents would make a low quality home made meal
>>21835271>Im rubber and you’re glue.
>>21834134This looks like something a 9 year old would eat while their mom shoots up heroin in the other room.
>>21835292The really poor friends I had as a child who had single drug addicted mothers on welfare and food stamps did not eat Kid Cuisine. They were lucky if they had bread and butter. They'd stick around for dinner and my mom would feed them our lower middle class meals of spaghetti and Prego, baked chicken and potatoes, rice and frozen stir fry veggies and cheap beef, hot dogs, etc. Kid Cuisine was not something poor people bought when I was a child and drug addict mothers definitely didn't buy that for their neglected kids.
>>21834134Why would you feed your kid that when you could make borscht out of rocks for cheaper and be a healthy weight of 12kg at 200cm? Cheers from Serbia.
