Why are they so good anywhere BUT in the US?
>>
>>21844388
They're shit here too but at least they're cheap (or so they were 5 years ago when I went there last).
>>
>>21844388
This is the worst garbage here in Europe. No reedeming qualities. I eat there all the time because I work in amrest and they give me the staff meals and it's awful no matter what I get
>>
>>21844388
what do you mean?
best flavor of the big 3.
>>
>>21844388
This is true for literally every international fast food chain. We have below-third world levels of food regulation here that's basically designed to kill us.
>>
You have to know how to have it your way to enjoy Burger King. They do not take kindly to fools who don't know what they enjoy in a burger.
>>
>>21844388
They're typically good where im at.
>>
>>21844447
Americans who are at this slop deserve to die though.
>>
>>21844388
they are good in the US. don't know what shithole you live in.
>>
I can't speak for the extraneous items, but for the burger itself (the crown jewel of the fast food menu), Burger King is unrivaled among its peers.
>>
>>21844388
they're amazing in Regina, sk
>>
>>21844388
I used to visit Brüger King when I was a kid back in the 90s-00s and always loved that Whopper and their nuggies too (not to mention the fact that any FF place was offering onion rings as a $0 substitute for fries).

Then I moved to Australia where BK is Hungry Jacks and it's actually pretty much the same, except I will say the Spicy Jack chicken sambo might be the best fast food thing I've ever eaten in my life. Fucking perfect. Also they're pretty good about keeping Aussie classics on the menu but keeping the US staples on there too (McDicks does this here too).

Overall I prefer Hungry Jacks to McPenis with a couple exceptions
>>
Their marketing in the 2ks started targeting an underserved "urban" youth market. The race to the bottom to be the cheapest ghetto chow possible began almost immediately after

They are genuinely good here in Australia. I never understood why Americans prefered McDonalds until I went to the US.
>>
>>21846199
depends where you are. the one in my town is absolutely loathsome.
>>
>>21846207
Fucking poor management strikes again. I earned my bars at a FF franchise (Subway) and my owner/manager ran an immaculate operation and treated the staff well, and even though we were in a tiny shit towne we outperformed all the Subways in the country because of how well run it was and how well trained the staff was. I fucking loved that job.

Now when I go to a FF place and it's shambles I know exactly where the problem is, owners who don't give a shit. The franchise itself provides literally EVERYTHING they need plus endless support to make sure they run a business that people want to go to, and so many can't even do that. I fucking despise the retards that can't even make a McDonald's or Hungry Jack's good when they're being spoonfed literally everything.
>>
>>21846223
**county

not country lol
>>
>>21846223
yeh, I worked at chicken treat as a teenager. we smashed it. and you're correct, it isn't fucking hard
>>
>>21846226
Man I always wanted to try Chicken Treat, but from what I understand they're all around WA and SA and I've never seen one in NSW.
>>
>>21846237
they used to be widespread in WA 20+ years ago, but have declined significantly since then. still a few around. they went hard on the meme burgers and other deep fried things though. back when I worked there is was a more simple menu.
>>
>>21844388
The short answer is corporate greed.
>>
>>21846207
Yes but once you find a location where the management is doing its job Hungry Jacks is peak. It's not like McDonalds doesn't have bad locations either, although I'll admit they are slightly more consistent.
>>
>>21844388
It was still good when they were serving the Big King and the Chicken Big King ages ago
>>
>>21844388
You tell us dumbass
>>
>>21847621
Stacker king i miss you..
>>
pretty much every fast food chain around here gets review bombed
particularly BK and chipotle from my observations
it's hard to believe the amount of malaise it takes to _want_ to serve fucked up food but i guess these places are just something you avoid and hope others do the same until they close permanently so something not gay can open in its place instead

The chicken fries are pretty good. And look at the angry chikumns on the box :D

Workers and management not giving a shit. A well ran store is great, but damn near impossible to find.

Never been to Australia, but taking a peek at the menu, dam, you guys got some good stuff there. Would like to try that Blue Lagoon and Outback Whopper.
>>
>>21848885
they change up the novelty items fairly regularly but yeah they have some good shit. Even McDix has specific aussie-only items, my absolute favourite being the McOz which comes and goes much like the 'cRib
>>
>>21848890
No kidding
>Big Brekkie Burger
>Big Arch
>El Maco Beef
>BBQ Bacon Angus
Ad food will always look better than what you get, but still, wouldn't mind having them.

BK and McDs here have to compete with street food burgers. If the street food burger costs $3 and the whopper costs $6 it better be fucking good.
The Whoppers here in SE Asia actually look like the burgers on the ads and menus, it's amazing

That's why everything here is bad now

Yeah, this 100% does not surprise me. It boils down to management. Always does.

There's a Burger King down the road a few miles from me. It's pretty much all Latinos running the joint, but the owner, I can tell he gives a shit, both on the side of the workers and the customers, because the same motherfuckers have been working there for years and seem genuinely interested in serving you a decent meal. That place is also based as fuck, I watched the manager drag out a homeless guy once. The staff there keep the place fucking spotless, and they never skimp when you ask for sauces. Oh, you want three ranches or some shit, have four!

Also, Subway struggles with this because they let every cunt run the joint, so people get them and just milk them. Whereas Chick Fil A franchises are much fewer in number, and lower financial entry, but there's a massive number of hoops you have to jump through so those that do make it are dedicated.

Massively incorrect brainlet post
>We have below-third world levels of food regulation here that's basically designed to kill us
Actual psuedo-science to borderline propaganda that conforms with European protectionism who has many dyes and chemicals not banned the US bans. Many sources put the food regulation on the same level as Europe. I will demolish any brainlet take about this.
>This is true for literally every international fast food chain.
This is widely not true for brands like Chick Fil A and Popeyes that are considered best in the USA, not including many brands never make it out that are par with equivalents in other countries. Big brands like Mcdonalds, KFC, BK, 7/11 are better in other countries because they capped out growth in the USA but not in other countries. In the USA to increase sales they either have to up costs consumers pay or cut costs on their own, leading to a lower quality product. Because in international markets they have not hit the growth cap they do not need to cost cut and need to actually be better to gain more share, though in some cases they hit the max growth potential they are starting to (7/11 in Japan has started to dip for example)

>>21844388
They aren't good in the UK either, disgusting shit. McDonalds is so much better its absurd.

It's happening bros, babby's first Outback Whopper®

and it's a double :]

>>21851322
Same for the BK down the street from my house. You can tell because you have peeps coming just to talk to the manager and the workers there. They treat the homeless alright and let them use the restroom, but they will remind them that charities can be pulled, and if you leave a fucking mess you're out the door for good.
>>
>>21852237
Hold the fucking phone... Aussie bk has... PLATES??
>>
>>21852911
no, this was at my house. I unboxed everything immediately because they had allowed my drink to spill all over the inside of the bag
>>
>>21844388
They aren't good in Germany either.
>>
>>21853204
This just raises another question, drink... inside the bag??
>>
When made right the whopper is the best burger in the USA. Especially if the location has jalapeños
>>
They're great in the US, better than mcdicks.
>>
>>21853212
It was delivered by UberJeets
>>
>>21844388
The McWhopper or whatever the fuck it was called sucked ass in Brazil. US best by far.
>>
>>21844388
They're shit everywhere.
