Ethnic food scares me and I’m not sure what to do about it.
>>

The French, who invented crepes, disagree
>>
Why would you order from an Indian restaurant and not get a curry with a side of naan or rice
>>
>>21846613
They are not even that bad bad Indian food gives me what I assume is literal PTSD.

I spent about 2 months in India for work and that place makes me sad.
>>
>>21846689
Yes; South Indian to be precise (curries are North).

The wrap is a crepe made of lentil mash. And the filling is mashed up potatoes, but not actual "mashed potatoes" potatoes, there's more texture: more like crushed potatoes than mashed. And they'll have other additions such as paneer cheese or chili peppers. It's served with a side of a spicy vegetable soup called sambar (similar to chinese hot & sour soup) which you're supposed to dip it in, like when you get a french dip sandwich's au jus.

The other main South Indian is uttapam, which is like a pancake made (again) from lentils, often with additions as above.

If they serve dosa, they likely don't serve naan as it's north Indian.
>>
>>21847492
OP did, retard
>>
>>21846613
It's an extremely mediocre dish. I wouldn't not eat it, but I also don't see any reason to eat it over any number of tastier dishes at the same price point. If the price falls to something reasonable for what you get, like $2.50 per dosa, it may be worth it.
>>
>>21850223
This one was $17
>>
>>21850244
this nigga paid 17 bucks for a jeet pancake
>>
>>21846613

>>
I do like dosas,
especially from Sammy Sosa's house of dosa and samosa in sunny Formosa.

>>
>>21852715
