Me being a cooklet with no skill, I just boiled it to see how it basic taste was. It turned up chewy, maybe even rubberry a bit, with unique but not very intense taste. I could see it work with other ingreedients in dishes, but on its own it was not something I would choose to eat again. Dissappointing, probably due to my shit preparation and general lack of knowledge.

Crustaceans of course but I love Mussels. Can't wait for spring when they are in season so I can make some, I live near a mussel farm and they are very cheap in season.
