NJ here, things are going to suck but the northeast is generally prepared for this kind of thing. Temperatures are getting really cold for my area, dipping close to 0F (-17C) but got a backup generator and plenty of food. Picked up some Chinese to go at 99 ranch so had kung po chicken and a lamb dish.

I made cinnamon rolls last night, but I got high as fuck and ate them all. Big regrets today on that, but goddamn are they good. Substituted the butter in the dough for bacon fat, and made the glaze with bacon fat and maple extract. It's like if a maple bacon doughnut was a cinnamon roll. I might even put bacon in the filling when I make them again.

I buy tubs of that pretty regularly. That's what I ate last night, and will have another couple of meals of it later this week. Tonight I'll be making some fried eggs and sausage, because I haven't been eating many eggs for a while now and realized I miss them.Also, President Trump has brought egg prices down to $1/dozen again! All it took was ending the Biden era policy of slaughtering every fucking chicken within a mile of any bird that sneezed due to "bird flu".And gasoline was down to $2.50/gal last week, and has stayed steady below $3/gal for a month now -- well below the Biden era average of $3.22/gal (and I'm in a high-tax state, so it's even more insanely cheap for us than it would be to some lucky Oklahoman). We are so back, my MAGA brethren.
