Why does the background look more like a painting of a kitchen from memory than an actual kitchen (aside from being out of focus)?It might take a bit to catch details, but the back of your brain (Brodmann areas 17-19, if memory serves?) are really good at skimming through the info you feed it and going "Well, that's not fucking right. Sound the alarm."If you woke up, and your entire visual field were slightly-off AI, you'd probably vomit, because those signals would be "Visual input incorrect. You've been poisoned."
