Hello anons. Tonight I pan fried some bibigo dumplings for my wife and I. I have
>soy sauce
>‘dumpling sauce’ I got at Kroger
>teriyaki
>minder’s Korean sweet and spicy sauce
What would be some other condiments you guys would recommend? Ignore the scissors.
>>
Are the Koreans pretending that they invented Gyoza now?
>>
What's going on with those scissors???
>>
What's up with the scissors?
>>

I'm not sure but being out here in the boonies of Indiana they make some yummy pot-stickers.

I'd really appreciate you stop asking about the scissors.

the edge of the scissors cuts the food

not really a condiment as much as a side, but very thinly sliced cucumber,(or not, IDGAF,) with a splash of rice wine vinegar and a sprinkle of sea salt is a nice side for these.
Just plain cucumber slices are fine too.
Serve them in a nice looking bowl.
Looks good anon, hope you and the wife enjoy 'em!
t. nothing other than maybe sriracha goes with gyoza any better than what you already have.

mix soy sauce, dark soy sauce, mirin and black vinegar, maybe a pinch of sugar, a little grated garlic and ginger. 'dumpling sauce' but good.
>>
>>21853869
little bit of toasted sesame oil too

i think it's just a difference in consumption
japan and korea almost always pan fry their dumplings which means they're built with a thinner skin but china boil or steam typically so they need a denser pastry to retain liquid

>stop asking about the scissors
Typical pro-scissors response. The second anyone starts asking questions your kneejerk reaction is to cut them off

Thanks fellas I haven’t used the black vinegar I got last year yet so next time it’ll be a great excuse to break it out.

For me it’s soy sauce with a little sesame oil and gochujang.

I see you have scissors in the picture. What are their significance?
>>
>>21854006
Nothing they are just one of many utensils
>>
>>21854022
I'm now erect. Thanks anon, I didn't want to masturbate again today but now I'm going to have to
>>
>>21853825
Quick question, how do you use the scissors?
>>
>>21853830
nothing in this thread gave any indication that anyone was claiming anything, weeb
>>
>>21854232
very carefully

Whenever i make gyoza fried or steamed I just mix some vinegar, soy sauce, tiny bit of sesame oil, and grated fresh ginger. I dont really have any portions for each i just wing it.
Whats also pretty good for fried ones are this mae ploy sweet chili sauce found at asian markets.

soy sauce 2 tablespoons
vinegar splash
mirin splash
sugar teaspoon
red pepper flakes, black pepper
chopped green onions, sesame seeds
optional msg/fish sauce
