>genuinely cannot tell if this is a good deal or a bad deal
>>21854644>feeds 8 peopleWho can get full on only two tendies?
>>21854652I don't know, but I think I saw the little man on the TV refer to them as "foreigners."Sorry, I don't know any more details, I got scared and turned off the TV when they showed them.
>>21854644It's a bad deal, order directly from the website instead, it's delivered via doordash anyway.
If it's the family meal box that includes a bunch sides, then its' a good deal.If it's JUST the tenders, then it's an OKAY deal.
32 tenders for 50 bucks is pretty close to like $1.60 a tender, so like...eh? it's an okay deal I guess if you want to just get Popeyes tenders and have them delivered to you, but I think it's obvious that literally any bag of frozen tenders - even some of the better quality ones - are more favorable on a unit price basis.
The trick is to become a doordash driver and then doordash will pay you to pick up your own food
>>21854665yeah you make even more money if you tip yourself
>>2185465926 dollars for a good meal per person seems quite reasonable. That would fill me up enough to be satisfied. It's when everyday meals get over 50 dollars I start to worry. Looking at you five guys and outback.
It's a bad deal because all takeout food is a bad seal, just cook it yourself.
>>21854814Dude don't buy a car just make it yourself.
>>21854929If it took less than an hour to build a car that's much better and cheaper than one you can buy, absolutely. Unfortunately it's only the case for takeout food, not cars.
>>21854644of course it isn't a good deal, you could make 30 pieces at home for $30 including breading without any of the preservatives + poison
>>21854929not an argument, necessity and accessibility matters, OP can absolutely deepfry all that and make it like a pro easily, he cannot make a car
>>21854772Realistically, the 14 tender meal is good for 1-3 adults, or 3-6 children (depending on their age/gender/size)If you're dealing with a bunch of 5-6 year olds, you can probably feed 6 of them from that box.If you're dealing with a group of large Samoans, you're going to want 1 per person.
>>21854644Whenever they do these 2 for 1 on uber they jack the price of the item to be almost the same as 2
>>21854772imagine trying to eat 27 mcchickens though. would it even be feasible? I guess at $3 each these days, you would only get 9 macChicken.sthat's definitely doable, not sure it would fill my stomick as much the chicken box
>>21854644Fast Food should never cost more than like 20 bucks for some shit like that
>>21854949You can't figure out what ingredients to buy, buy the ingredients, prep the food, and cook the chicken in less than an hour. I can go to Popeyes and be back with 16 tenders in ten minutes. You are incredibly undervaluing convenience.
>>218551581 chicken tender is about 150 calories. https://popeyesmenuonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Popeyes-menu-USA-Nutritional-Information.pdfSo 14 would be 2,100 calories. According to the Mayo Clinic, 5-8 year olds typically need anywhere from 1,200 to 2,000 calories. Assuming 3 meals per day that’s 400 to 666 calories per meal. https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/childrens-health/in-depth/nutrition-for-kids/art-20049335The chicken tenders divided among the 6 children would make for 350 calories each, which is a bit low. But once you take into account the two sides you get anywhere from 660 extra calories to 1750 extra calories, at minimum an extra 110 calories per child and up to 283, add in the biscuits and you get a final count of 635 to 808 calories per child, which should be normally more than enough, but that could change if the hungriest among them skipped breakfast or something.
>>21854652Two tendies are 300 calories. Assuming three equal meals per day genuinely no-one, not even one of those 1200-per-day-is-plenty ED dieters (literal caloric needs of a 2 y/o btw).
>>21856161He said full. Not if the meal would supply enough caloric content for a single meal.
>>21856117If you're going to the grocery store anyway then the time to figure out and buy the ingredients is moot. You can easily make that happen in less than an hour at home. You're just being lazy. I'm lazy about a lot of things and I won't knock you for just getting the popeye's, but you're overstating the convenience more than the other anon is understating it.
>>21854644Nothing from Popeyes is worth the money anymore, not even the app deals.
>>21854644
>>21854644It's a great deal. Show us the photos after you order. We are patiently waiting.
