I just made the best fucking panang curry I've ever had. And I used coconut milk powder. What are some other food hacks?

I've realised you can freeze Thai curry paste. The oil in it stops it freezing solid, so you can use it straight from the freezer. Lasts for months.

Well fuck, I used to buy red curry paste by the tub and just let half of it expire
>>
I don’t eat curry because I always think of Indians shitting when I smell it

1/3 cup of coconut milk powder
1 cup warm wott'a, near boilan
Teaspoon corn starch
Half tablespoon soy sauce or fish sauce
Half tablespoon lime juice
Red chili flakes and salt to taste
1/8 cup brown sugar
Mix all that shit together in a glass till no chunks, set aside

Half white onion chopped
Whole green bell pepper chopped
Heaping handful of bird meat chopped
Teaspoon fresh grated ginger
1-2 garlic cloves, finely diced
Throw in hot pan with a splash of oil and cook until idfk until it's cooked

Add two tablespoons of thai red curry paste
Half tablespoon of peanut butter
Mix all that in until it's distributed into the chopped food
Add the set-aside coconut milk slurry and reduce and combine at medium heat until it looks like you did everything on purpose

Take three or four bay leaves
Throw them away, they do nothing

Serve immediately on jasmine rice

Putting 1 jalapeño pepper with the seeds in your stew. It doesn't make it overly spicy but it doubles the "hearty food that warms you up" factor. I just finished cooking up some beef stew and am eating it now. With the ice storm that just passed through the southeast, this is the perfect dinner right now.

I only buy the pickled sliced kind. Should I just start pickling my own and save the seeds? Does it still work if I dry the seeds?

An Indian food hack is that they literally cook with cow poop as the fuel

I forget about them. I'm a prolific alcoholic.
