>>21877564good for texture on sandwiches and wraps. that's about it though. other greens are better for salads.

>>21878817>caring about texture is autistic
>>21878817It's a wet, earthy flavour with a "freshness" to it, perfect for sandwiches. You're a pretentious faggot who hates being autistic.
>>21878817texture snd flavour are both important.

>>21878862>>21878884Only an autistic person complains about food not being crunchy enough. Or too crunchy. Or about anything related to texture. This is a fact. Disagreeing doesn't make it not true.>>21878862>>21878890See:>>21878847
>>21878902Caring about flavor is autistic. Caring about smell is even more autistic. I'll fart in your face and if you complain you're autistic.
>>21878902>Only an autistic person complains about food not being crunchy enough. Or too crunchy. Or about anything related to texture. This is a fact. Disagreeing doesn't make it not true.- "hey i brought the chicken nuggets you wanted"- "wtf is this"- "the chicken nuggets - that's what you wanted, right?"- "yes, but this.."- "i ran them through a blender BECAUSE ONLY AUTISTS CARE ABOUT TEXTURE"
>>21878924Correct. If you refuse to eat any food in blended form you are 100% exhibiting signs of autism. Although I would be extremely annoyed if somebody did this to me, because that would make properly saucing my nuggs difficult.>>21878909>AI hallucination reply
>>21878902>Beyond flavor, texture is crucial. Many prefer crunchy, dry foods (beige diet) and may avoid slimy or wet textures.Greenbros and wetbros aren't autistic.
>>21878979>Many autistic children and adults prefer crunchy, dry foods (beige diet) and may avoid slimy or wet textures.Thank you for agreeing, finally!
>>21878969i was making fun of your otherworldly statement, not agreeing with it>because that would make properly saucing my nuggs difficultsurely an autissimus maximus like you should be able to add the correct amount of sauce while blending your chicken nuggets, no?
>>21878969>because that would make properly saucing my nuggs difficult. It would make it easier to find the perfect ratio and mix it evenly for a consistent flavor.
>>21878969>eats nuggets>with sauce evenYou are in no position to be calling other people autistic
>>21878902Nobody is complaining about anything. People are just saying that texture enhances food. Which is true. I wouldn't complain if my sandwich lacked lettuce, it's still fine. But it would be even better with it.
>>21878909No one counts A.I. generated answers as evidence. You can't post that and be taken seriously.
>>21879427It's common knowledge. AI only repeats it.
>>21879428No, A.I. repeats anything it sees a lot of. It aggregates from everywhere. Guess what the internet is full of: Bullshit. And A.I. doesn't know what's true or not. It's not even close to being ready and you guys already use it like it's an argument ender. Just like you misused Google before. As if just being on the internet means it's true.Mainly it just makes you look lazy like you're unwilling to put it into your own words. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WPx4TL5F8o
>>21878821Caesar is better with lettuce that’s isn’t SHIT. Get fuckin green leaf and try it.
>>21879435Okay, here's a study: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9545735/
>>21877564i like a lot of bulk those inner bits are my favorite, is there a name for that part like cuts of meat but for lettuce?
>>21879665Yeah, it's the heart. You can even buy just the heart of some varieties i.e. Romaine.
>>21879482No, green leaf does not make for good salads. Especially a caesar.
>>21879892wrong. green leaf is the second best lettuce for all applications, after red leaf.
>>21879925LOL, red leaf is even worse. They're great on sandwiches. I prefer both of those to anything for sandwiches. But no, they are not fibrous enough for salads. Far too soft and weak to hold up. If you get FARM FRESH lettuces and immediately make salads from them it's another story. But what you can get and most grocery stores and even from restaurant purveyors is not hardy enough. And you can have your little (incorrect) opinions about things like the red leaf Caesar, but no one would take them seriously. >all applicationsI can't believe you went there, man.
>>21879933I’ve never had floppy red/green leaf, the fuck are you talking about? If you’re going to be retarded, at least be convincingly retarded.
I might add some of those leaf lettuces to a salad blend, but certainly not on their own. I know because I've tried it. It's why you don't see restaurant salads or store salad kids ever made from those lettuces. It just doesn't hold up to dressing or even time. You have to keep the leaves upright soaked in water even to use them in sandwiches and burgers in restaurants. That's the only way they will retain any crunch at all.
>>21879939kits, not kids
>>21877564good for wrapping your korean bbq, ssamjan, grilled garlic, sauteed mushroom all together and eating.
>>21877564You are defeated
>>21880099That's butter lettuce though.
>>21880105And?
>>21880106OP wanted you to find a virtue for iceberg.
>>21880109You're right, it's physically impossible to use iceberg lettuce to make lettuce wraps. It can only be done with butter lettuce. I apologize for my naivety.
>>21877564Jerry using it as a teaching tool to explain George's brain.
>>21880114I know you're kidding, but most of the leaves on a head of iceberg are too brittle to wrap anything with effectively.
>>21880119What's your native language just curious, because its not English and thats probably why you're unfamiliar with the commonality of iceberg being used for lettuce wraps
>>21880122lol, not English? I write longer posts than anyone here and I rarely make a mistake. Iceberg is not common for wraps. Any picture you find will likely have Bibb lettuce or even green leaf. But not iceberg. I'm sorry about your luck. And what would my superior grasp of the English language have to do with my knowledge of the lettuce varieties used in wraps? I'd argue that lettuce wraps are served predominantly in NON-English speaking nations. But this is my native language. I'm so fucking great at it that I don't need to know any others. As an American everyone has to meet me on my terms anyway. Even when visiting their lands. It's good to be king.
>>21880125Sorry I didn't read your blog post since It was clear from the first sentence that you weren't actually going to answer my question. If you go on Instagram, recipe websites or look on any menu that has pictures in America and serves lettuce wraps, they'll be using iceberg lettuce. Sorry you are wrong.
>>21880128I'm sorry you couldn't back up your bullshit with these images you claim exist on social media. This is the main photo from wikipedia and like most of the others you'll find, it's using butter lettuce. Condolences.
>>21880129Oh now I understand. You think butter lettuce IS iceberg lettuce. A case of misidentification on your part.
>>21880133didn't read this either.
>>21880134lol, yes you did. What a childish and illogical claim to make about a post you're replying to. It's funny because you're trying to pretend you don't even know you got proven wrong and dunked on.

>>21878992>>21879006>n-no u!Sure got me there leaf munchers!>>21878998You are correct, but I would then have to figure out the correct ratio, which would be silly since I probably won't eat blended nuggets more than once>>21879068>Nobody is complaining about anything. People are just saying that texture enhances food. Which is true.I see a lot of people complain about "needing more crunch", so I'm not sure what reality you live in, but I would like to visit it sometime. It sounds pleasant. Besides, texture only enhances food when you have sensory issues and get caught up in how much you aren't enjoying the mechanical process if chewing your food. Hence, 'tisms.

>>21882995>their preferences are retarded and nonsensical In other words: "your personal tastes aren't logically sound".Quite an autistic way of looking at things.
>>21882995>through the eyes of a reasonable personbut you aren't a reasonable person -you're saying that LOGICALLY YOU MUST BE AUTISTIC TO ENJOY TEXTURE - and also doubling down on that statement when confronted with evidence of that not being the casein order words, you dont understand that people have other views than those of your ownsodid you try the chicken nugget blender experiment yet, or are you gonna tell us that "blending it is too work and a waste of time"?because, in that case, you could get a cup of warm water and a bag of powdered soup and try that - it'll take a lot less time than if prepared normally
Manly larping retards crying about salad will never not be funny lmao.Want to be a man? Finish your plate asshole
>>21883001They don't sell potato chips without salt, not that I've seen at least.
