Just got some of this. Never used it before. What's the best use for it? Dip it like soy sauce, cook with it? Anything it goes well with?
>>
I don't know but its a good label. The vagueness of what the fuck the shit even is, demands for me to buy a bottle to try it.

years ago they used to be sold in my country but not anymore, now we only get those little packets that are not very good.

If you can't find maggi this is exactly the same thing, it's similar to brags liquid aminos basically it's just msg and "umami" flavor. Usually based on soy sauce.

I'm sorry I'm retarded

Never tried it but I figure it's similar to soy sauce (full of salt and glutamates).
>>
>>21881297
more comparable to worcestershire, add a little bit for more umami/savory notes, little goes a long way

It's hydrolized vegetable protein (sometimes wheat, sometimes soy), with some veggie extract. Basically industrial soy sauce + better-than-bouillon.
>>
>>21881297
my mum uses it to marinate meat
not submerge it, splash it on until it's all changed color.
>>21881402
i've found it's more similar to soy sauce actually. there's no fruitiness like in worcestershire sauce
>>
>>21881297
use red cap maggi variants. yellow cap = made in china
>>
>>21881297
just throw it straight in the bin
>>
>>21881297
it makes any stock tastegood
>>
>>21881297
Soup, but as you say it's basically soy sauce but German, use it similar
>>
>>21881297
its genuinely just mexican soy sauce. beaners use it on carne asada. or they'll sautee onions with a few drops of that shit. goes great with lime.

just be aware it is concentrated soy.

I put a little into soups, marinades, bolognese, but my favourite is adding it to some chopped up rotisserie chicken with taco seasoning and making quesadillas

Good for chicken wings and lobster. Google the recipes. And big shrimps with shells.

In SE Asia they add Maggi to soft boiled eggs and dip toast in it. It's very good for eggs

No part of you thought to just taste it?

>mexican
It was created in Europe
>>

I'm not going to open a bottle in a store and drink out of it. I'm not a subhuman.

>>21884320
>just be aware it is concentrated soy.
It has no soy in the ingredients.

Reibekuchen
>>
macaroni with viandox / maggi butter and gruyere / emmental is a classic. I like to add some when I mix salad dressing too
>>
>>21881297
It does nothing. Absolute waste of time and money
>>
just buy msg stick powder
>>
>>21881297
The US version is made in China, and Maggi is infamous for a lead contamination scandal in India. Bone apple teeth, I guess.

lead adds flavor
