tuna casserole is actually good if you make the cream of mushroom soup yourself and honestly its fine even if you don't but I highly recommend using homemade chicken stock/broth for it, it really adds a lot of flavorsaute some sliced mushrooms in oil, add some extra butter and flour, brown it, add milk and stock, simmer a bit, add some grated sharp cheddar (save half for the top)turn off the heat, add some microwaved/defrosted frozen peasa little maple syrup, salt, vinegar, pepper, woostyshire sauce, any other flavorings you like (hot sauce?), and a couple packets of pouch tuna (you can use canned but pouch tuna tastes better)boil some medium egg noodles for 1-2 minutesdrainmix the sauce and the noodlestop with panko breadcrumbs and grated sharp cheddarbake at 400F for about 20 minutes until top is light brown

I've never heard of chicken a la King before but it looks pretty delicious and casseroles can be quite tasty. I agree that aspic isn't likely to come back though. My first though on outdated food would be the "low fat" foods in that were marketed as healthy in the 90s (e.g. Snackwell cookies). I don't think those will have a resurgence of popularity.
