I remember how shilled it was in 2020, basically every pub began stocking it, and now nearly every boozer outside of a Spoons stocks this or the other bad "Spainish" beer, Cruzcampo. Estrella is nice (not the gluten free one); and Alhambra is good, although I've only ever seen my local Spainish-styled bar serve it on draught, which is incidentally full of pikeys.

It's a shitty English lager marketed as a Spanish beer to remind chavs of that time they went to Ibiza.Actual Spanish breweries like Estrella Galicia, Mahou, Estrella Dam etc were founded by German brewers in the late 1800s and still brew pretty exceptional German style lagers. Spain is pretty much the only place in western Europe where you can get a doppelbock (Mahou Maestra) or a strong marzenbier (Voll Damm) on draught for less than a fiver. Even in Germany and central Europe these styles are much rarer to find.
