I browse this board, /sp/ and /tv/ all of which are relatively normal hobbies for people to have (sports, movies, cooking) and while the gender and sexuality spread is different in all of them but the one constant is that all three are relatively hostile to anime and it's a big tell on any of those boards when someone is posting anime that they're coming from a less "normie" board to just cause a ruckus and derail a thread. Boards have their own culture and meme structures and people who animepost or frogpost on boards where they don't like anime and frogposters are clearly coming from /pol/, /int/ or so on thinking that the whole site is like their board. tl;dr Lurk Moar and the whatnot.
