>I know a lot of you are expecting pink slime or the whole chicken – beak and claws and everything. But that’s not the case. The reality is they’re made with white chicken meat. There’s no mystery. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. I’ve been there. It is what they say it is. Myth busted.

R.I.P. grant.

He died in 2020 of a ruptured aneurysm.
Kinda scary. One day you feel fine, the next day your brain explodes for no reason and you die instantaneously.

It's a shame about Joel.
I had a ruptured blood vessel on Christmas, lost a fucktonne of blood and nearly died. Had to get emergency IR neurosurgery to embolise the rupture. It's fucking crazy to me that they can make a literal pinprick /in your wrist/ to thread a hyper thin wire through your blood vessels and into your brain. The scar? It looks like a mosquito bite lmao

Is it really instantaneous? Are there any survivor stories recounting just what it's like? I think I may have had a few.

he was in the middle of eating with other people at a dinner party and died

Not always, but when they rupture you quickly get dizzy and then start vomiting before possibly passing out. If you actually had one you would either be dead or in the hospital for weeks.

I always get a tummy ache after eating a meal of 20 piece nugs (no fries so it’s not because it’s a calorie bomb)

They really should make brain and torso imaging a part of preventative care, makes no sense now that MRI machines are widely available

That's the dream

I don't think that even happens in countries that care more about their citizens lives than the wallets of leeching middlement. I think it may genuinely just be an unacceptably inefficient use of resources, as much as it sucks when it's you dropping dead at age 30.

Imagine all the collagen you'd get from McD if that were the case

just tell a doctor you have headaches and want an mri with and without contrast. I've had 4 brain mris and a CT scan in the last 15 years for headaches. Likewise you can get a full cardiology work up including echocardiogram by saying "sometimes my heart skips a beat " to your doctor and then saying the same thing to the cardiologist that he refers you to.

I may do this, appreciate the advice!

People who thinks chicken nuggets are made with beaks, eyeballs, and combs are retards who probably spend all their time on Reddit.

lmao
Wasn't a stroke and yeah, I must've just finished watching Robert's Rigatoni or something because I was clearly thinking of Joel Kuwahara rather than Grant Imahara. Oops.

it looks like Joel is still alive but he did step down from his position of whatever he was doing
