Greggs is the triumphant culinary achievement of humanity. The British Empire conquered the world so we could invent Greggs.

>Oh hi ma'am. Thank you, but before I take this giant fish cake from you, I'd like to know where it came from? I suspect most fish these days come from farm fisheries. And most of these farms are malpractices with the overuse of unsustainable chemicals and growth agents. I wouldn't want to support that, let alone eat a fish originating from such place. This fish seems abnormally large, so my suspicion is peaked. Can you please go check where it originate from and ensure this meets my ideals? I have time. Please go check. I can even help make the necessary Google searches too if your attempts are unfruitful.

He's at the peak of his suspicion. He's never before been, nor will he ever again be, as suspicious as he is right now.

Here are the things I always bring my American in laws when we go to the US to see them. It's a bit biased towards sweets because they pack well.
>Jaffa cakes
Every American loves these.
>Chocolate
Get the own brand milk chocolate from a nice supermarket like Waitrose or M&S. You will probably like it.
>Honeycomb
It's pretty good, but the main reason you should try it is that it's difficult to get in the United States.
>Black pudding
If you aren't weirded out by offal, try this. It's basically illegal in the US so this will be your only chance. I don't bring it with me because of that but I would if I could.
>Bread
I am not someone who hates on American food, but American bread is generally of a worse quality, and without going to a proper bakery you hit the ceiling on bread quality pretty quickly in the US. Get some store-baked loaves and try them out. This isn't something I bring with me either, obviously, but it's something I always miss when we're over there.
>McDonald's
I don't eat it here or in the US, but I am told the UK one is significantly better. Might be worth a try if you like McDonald's. Does not apply to less common US fast food places like Wendy's or Five Guys. Those always suck compared to their US counterparts.
>Coca Cola
I know you guys are the Coca Cola capital, but outside of the US it's always made with cane sugar rather than corn syrup. Tastes like Mexican coke.

KFC isn't even good here. Oddly enough it's only good in Japan.

Real Black Pudding is Banned in the USA, Americans have their own version.
