This plus coconut oil is the agreed upon correct way to make popcorn, right?
>>
popcorn is to food as masturbating is to sex.

I just grind up my salt into a powder. If I ever get back into making ghee, it'd be nice, but I don't wanna be too much of a fattass anymore.

Lean options of opulent treats are a terrible compromise.

This shit chemically burns my tongue I love it so much.
>>
The problem is you have to make popcorn the hard way if you use it. You can't just put it in the microwave and sprinkle flavacol on afterwards
>>
>>21891873
Is it actually good or is it just people's nostalgia for cinema pop corn they had as kids? Because frankly popcorn is just underwhelming
>>
>>21892592
I'd say I'm qualified to answer that on account of
1) Never having had movie popcorn until I was 25 (lolpoor)
2) Liking flavacol popcorn
Yes it's good.
>>
>>21891873
my popcorn doesn't need saving
>tiny heirloom popcorn
>fne sea salt
>fancy butter
don't need none of this shit

Orville sells butter flavored oil too, but ehh, I use an airpopper, or a Tbsp of olive oil in a pot, and then real butter and finely ground sea salt.

My homemade topping favorite is chili-lime. I slice a few ancho peppers with scissors and quickly sautee the strips in a small nonstick in just enough oil. Drain them to prevent burning, and pour the hot chili oil and crunchy sweet-hot chili strips on popcorn with a bit of lime zest and salt.

>airpop
>spray cooking spray on popcorn
>dust with aspartame and spices of your choice ( apple spice and chili powder are good)
>Enjoy

Flavacol and coconut oil is at least better than microwave popcorn (which is abominable), but for me, I like to
>clarify 1 stick butter, setting aside solids for later
>pop 1/2 cup kernels in clarified butter
>toss finished popcorn with butter solids and salt in large collander

the only real way to get your buttered popcorn dick hard IMO dem solids are buttery af

aspartame causes cancer and confuses your body
just use.sugar and do 1 (one) brisk walk a day anon. the world wont end from some fine sugar on your popcorn
>>
>>21892701
That's a lot of work for popcorn.
>>
>>21891873
Wait, I'm popcorn?
>>
>>21892746
No. (that's an answer to your previous question)
>>
>>21892889
I consume an enormous amount of aspartame. I put it on all my food because I don't eat sugary or salty things.
Nothing has happened to me. Aspartame is rapidly broken down by the body.

I recently bought it and it definitely makes the popcorn taste better. A big reason is because the salt is extremely fine, much smaller than even table salt, so it sticks much more on the kernels as opposed to all coming off like table salt. And it has a slight butter flavor, so all I need for my popcorn is a few tablespoons of canola oil, kernels, and the flavacol. Some people do a crazy popcorn routine, like getting coconut oil with beta carotene for orange color, topping oil, etc.
>>
>>21891873
For me is half olive oil, half butter, with flavacol, fresh ground pepper, and a tiny bit of sugar

Air popped, red corn

In a gallon tub that allows the popcorn to breath when you froth it
>>
When I was a kid we had popcorn with melted chocolate and peanut butter on it. I dont know if that was a good idea.
That said, here are seasonings I would actually recommend:
>Melted butter with honey, garlic, and black pepper
>olive oil, salt, dillweed, smoked paprika
>Salt, vinegar, grated/powdered parmsesan
