I FUCKING LOVE CHICKEN LEG QUARTERSYOU JUST SEAR THEM AND STICK THEM IN THE OVEN WITH A BUNCH OF ONIONS AND MUSHROOMS. THEN MAKE A SAUCE WITH ALL THE JUICES WHEN IT COMES OUT. OR JUST ADD BUFFALO WING SAUCE I DON'T CAREWHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH THE BONES YOU JUST FREEZE THEM THEN MAKE BROTH ONCE A MONTH.ILOVECHICKENLEGQUARTERS
Just had one for dinner for the first time. Wasn't the best but my own fault. Did a chicken and orzo onepot thing. Next time imma roast one for crispier skin
I like to shake them in flour and curry powder then roast them. Then I make gravy with the juices, flour, water, salt, pepper and a little soy sauce. If there isn’t enough juice I add some butter. Serve it with cabbage and potatoes.
>>21907346I love the whole damn bird. Legs, thighs, breasts, wings, feet, gizzards, livers, hearts, I eat every part of the chicken but the cluck. Chicken stock is the most versatile of all stocks, in my opinion, so you can really get a lot of meals out of a single bird.
Yeah boi and you can get a 10lb bag of leg quarters for less than $1/lbI soak them in Italian dressing with some Chachere's then smoke them over pecan wood
>>219073501? why not 3-5?
>sear>add to vessel with flavourings and liquid>braise/slow cookyou just can't go wrong with these things

>>21907346The thighs are the best part, and you can buy a six pack of those around the price of four quarters and it's easier to cook and I'd rather the thighs than half them and a leg.
>>21907346It's easier to separate the two before cooking. Cooking it whole is for lazy people with such a low IQ that they think putting off doing something automatically means less work.
