Why is there a plastic bottle in the bowl?
Besides that, I love me a good katsu curry.

Figured it'd be something like that. Katsu curry in Japan is almost always served with straight curry sauce, while westerners insist on using the stew kind that has vegetables and potatoes in it for some reason. You can even see it if you google "katsu curry" and then "カツカレー".

If it was from a japanese restaurant you would be gushing all over it but you find out it's from a British restaurant so you pick holes in it . . . . .oh so predictable and boring.

That makes me excited to go back this fall.
>Play shows 6 out of every 7 days to make back the money spent on flights, gear rental, transportation, lodging, etc.
>Always in or right next to fun bars
>get fairly gibbled pretty often on Suntory single malt, Kirin Ichiban, Asahi, and chuhais.
>attempt to recover with Pocari Sweat which is a terrible name for a sports drink.
>Order sashimi/sushi/yaki whatever by poking our tour manager in the bellybutton and saying "Surprise us, senpai! Weave them fancy Japanese spells" in the world's worst southern accent.
>Stumble into Karaoke bars, usually getting denied entry. Nail some X Japan ballads with surprising crowd participation.
>Usually have some conversation with someone (sometimes with translation from Ryu) involving the "You're alright for Americans" and "I was expecting you to be belligerent. Thank you for not doing that."
>Get dragged to Shangrila
>Have a good time with one of the larger maids/hostesses/servers. Between her and Ryu, the shit slinging is fierce and hilarious.
>Try the vending machine canned coffee... it's not terrible. Carry the can back to the hotel because I didn't see a garbage on the way.
>Consider pachinko... decide not to.
>Ryu gives the fat hostess my number and email
>Spend the last night off hanging with her.
>Wake up hungover, having forgotten to set an alarm. Still enough time to get to the hotel, get my stuff, and make load-in for the show. Play ok for being in the worst shape I've been in since.
>We get the full monty security treatment at Narita on our way out. Still manage to have plenty of time for some noodles and a beer. Get chastised by security for trying to carry Ryu onto the plane with me. "He's my carry-on" is met with a quickly fading smirk.

It's going to be a good time. Can't wait to stumble into some izakaya at some ungodly hour and say "I remember this place" before getting shooed out.

Used to live and work in Japan, specifically because I wanted this lifestyle. It got boring after the third time. Have lived very hedonistically in the west prior as well. Of course I thought it'd be more fun in Japan but I was wrong. It's boring and soulless. Now back in the states I've come to realize the most important thing is settling down and having a family. There's no greater joy than having kids and raising them. But if you haven't experienced a hedonistic lifestyle, you should. It doesn't matter if you're 30 or 40 or even 50. Go and do it so you can say you have. And then go back home and find someone to settle down with.

>>POV you are a Japanese salaryman and it's 2am
I hate to break it you, you retarded weeb, but no salaryman is eating that at 2am. If they're eating anything, it's ramen. But, by the time the average salaryman gets to his home station late night (if we're keeping with this scenario), in the area he can afford, there is next to nothing open. Just try a little harder, mongo.
>>
>>21920266
what exactly is "hedonistic" about 70 hour work weeks?

>That makes me excited to go back this fall.
Hey, you ligger faggot, your story is not interesting. It's no less gay than the average bro tourist. And, 100% your "music" sucks fucking ass. Big in Japan indeed.
>>
>>21920499
That's grossly exaggerated. I worked normal hours. By hedonistic I'm referring to what happens after work, getting drunk, eating good food, going to karaoke, going to soaplands, etc.
>>
>>21920037
God, you sound like an insufferable faggot. Your shitty writing attempt is also turbo cringe.
