>>21922064Rule of thumb is that if something has a lot of really nasty and overpowering spices added to it or if it's too sweet, you aren't actually supposed to drink it straight and it's for mixing. Find a good recipe, mix it and it's going to be great.No one teaches you this shit. I was gifted a gin and it was the worst drink I've ever had so I mixed it with tonic. Tonic is also fucking disgusting, but you mix the two together and it's one of the best drinks I've ever had.

>>21919299I'm not drinking because I only do it on the weekend. It's 6pm Monday here. On Friday I drank two bottles of red wine, one was a Spanish blend, the other a Shiraz. On Saturday and Sunday I drank lager and vodka. I don't know how much beer I drank, maybe something like 18 x 500ml can/bottles over two days? but I had something like 8-10 different brands. There's one dedicated off licence (liquor store) in my town all the other places are part of a shop, like in a supermarket, and this place has these random Czech lagers and things of that nature.
