Since this shit is likely poison, what are some of the best ways to make homemade queso or chip/nacho dip? Looking for suggestions and recipes. Thanks in advance

Cheese block, grate it yourself (pre-grated cheese has anti-caking shit)

Any liquid, I prefer Corona for nachos

Cornstarch

Baking soda mixed with citrus juice or vinegar (diy sodium citrate/acetate for optimal melting)

Well as the op, I mean, I was not saying here’s my recipe - I’m looking for a genuine queso recipe to substitute the garbage that is this Tostitos prepackaged bullshit. The toxic farts I get from it are enough to know it’s poison. I figured there would actually be some reasonable replies. I even opened it up to all dips hoping there’s some chip dip enjoyers that would be amped up to share.

This recipe I’ve followed directly and definitely enjoyed it. Spoiler it may also produce toxic farts, but it’s sound with ingredients that are super processed (except the red hot).

I was hoping to get some solid queso recipes. I actually fear that you guys might be trying to clown and kill me with these baking soda and alkasetlzer suggestions. Without a link , I’m skeptical. I’ll have to google more on my own it seems.

My method:
make a roux with butter & flour
add milk
add cheese (monterey jack for queso)
add diced jalapenos (canned green chiles work too)
add additional small increments of milk or cheese to achieve the desired consistency
stir the shit out of it with a whisk
keep at a low temp to minimize separation
salt to taste
you can add pico de gallo or browned chorizo for bonus points but I generally prefer just plain queso
