most pizza joints have pasta too. most snack bars/cheese store have spaghetti and/or lasagna on the menu (because the red meat sauce is already ready for italian poutine). There's also a lot of "italian" tv diners, and the ingredients are no worse than what you'd find in a fast food joint (installations might actually be cleaner than fast food)

Fazolis got me through college. $6 for a giant tray of baked spaghetti, a drink and I’d sit there and study for a couple hours while the breadstick wench did her rounds. That same meal is probably like $18 plus tip plus tax plus tip on the tax now.
