Let's hear it for the square slice. It gets undeserved hate, does it not?
>>21940672>squareits whats for lunch today
>>21940672millenials nostalgic for cafeteria pizza GENUINELY bruh lmao ong
fuck a square slice, it's deserved.
>>21940672Love me a thicc sicilian slab.
>>21940672Square slice is the norm if you're making your own pizza unless you're a tryhard and insist on inefficient circles.>>21940692These things are so good. Shame they're overpriced now.
>>21940692wouldn't>>21940693>>21940758would totally
>>21941141If you're focused on efficiency in eating your food then you're the definition of a tryhard.
>>21940693I’m an old zoomer and this was the best pizza I’ve ever had
>>21940672Does it matter if you're eating the entire pizza open sandwich* by yourself?*Pizza is not a pie. It has bread as its base and stuff put on top. It's an open sandwich.
>>21940672>undeserved hate,Depends, with a rectangular pie a square slice may fly but if it's a square format rotund pie you deserve to be stabbed in the eye.
>>21941663not all pies have top crusts
>>21941663An open sandwich is an oxymoron.
>>21941668thats a tart, like your mother
>>21941702And this is a rectangle. What's your point?
>>21940672A thick, pillowy crust is best.
Reminds me too much of the pizza we were served in middle school; weird cheese, bland sauce, cubed red mystery meat instead of pepperoni or sausage.
>>21940672Why don't they cut them into the superior hexagon shape?
>>21940672The slice of champions.
what if it were one big rectangle
>>21940672https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_GBLESmVe4https://www.tastinghistory.com/recipes/schoollunchcheesepizzahonestly, i never found school pizza to be that great. however, in highschool, there was a "breakfast pizza" that had little sausage balls on it, and it tasted TOTALLY different, so i dont know what they did differently. now, personally, i prefer a thicker, bready pizza over the ultra thin new york style pizza. too much of that shit is like a paper plate with melted cheese, and only the vaguest smear of sauce flavoring. its dry, and lacking flavor. pizza hut is just a grease sponge, but that STYLE of pizza is way better. digiorno actually isnt that bad, and honestly better than the 3 main commercial chains. HOWEVER, my local sheet pizza places absolutely dominate in flavor and quality. good thickness, actual suace content for moisture and flavor, good cheese, customizable ingredients, and good value for your dollar. round pizza places cant compare. nyc dry paper plate pizza with the ashy underside is trash and only pretentious bandwagoners think its good.
>>21941824>pillowyI don't want to sleep on it
>>21943464Looks like a death metal album cover. Hard pass.
For me? It's Billy's
>>21940672For me it's the party cut
>>21941141>Square slice is the norm if you're making your own pizza unless you're a tryhard and insist on inefficient circles.I make my pizza in my cast iron pan. Who has a square cast iron pan?
Only good for Detroit style
>>21945185Based
>>21940672Where the fuck can I find the tiny cubed pepperoni they use on square pizza? That shit is top tier but I can't find it anywhere
>>21945330>is top tierIt's shit tier actually.
>>21945330Dice it yourself?
