Should I try a chicken parm sandwich for the first time
>>
YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME NOW
>>
The Italian food gives me super spicy wet greasy farts
why does this happen
>>
the E-TALLYON FOOD
>>
>>21942766
do you want to?
>>
>>21942803
Yeah, it looks really good but I’m afraid of the >>21942795 mentions but I’ll have to endure it if it happens
>>
>>21942766
VEAL parm sandwich instead.
>>
>>21942766
It's better to dip the sandwich into the tomato sauce rather than trust them not to ruin and sog your bread
>>
no
>>
fuck it
>>
Is it better than pizza
>>
breaded chicken in bread. I think just the breast plus the sauce and cheese without breading would be a better way but that's just me.
>>
>>21942910
>breaded chicken in bread.
like a chicken tender?

You should go for it. It's clearly on your mind and it's gonna stay there until you do. I think you have what it takes; if you're worried because you're intimidated by or scared of a chick parm sandwich, you should know you have nothing to be worried about. I can get a feel for the kind of person you are through your post, and you definitely don't see like someone who's going to regret it. Your inquisitive nature, open to new experiences, is really shining through here. Hell, I think you'll love them. I sure do.
What's concerning you enough that you have to ask this question on /ck/? Are you just looking for shared experiences of people who've eaten chicken parm sandwiches before? Do you have an allergy concern you're hoping someone will preemptively warn you about? Are you worried about how getting a chicken parm sandwich will impact you financially and asking not "is it good" but "is it worth the cost"? In all those cases, I'd say this: you're worrying over nothing. The benefits of trying one chicken parm sandwich, honestly, outweigh the potential health and budget impact it could have on you. Live a little!
I understand fear of new things can make you hesitant to try new foods. But I want you to know something, and this isn't really related to food, but my life is fucking shit because of how much I hesitated to try new things that ultimately would have helped me. Career-wise, relationship-wise, money-wise. I'll be lucky to work a job above minimum wage and I will never put my benis inside a woman. I think this all stems from my childhood picky eating ingraining bad habits and fear of the unknown. So it hurts me when I see people worrying about trying new foods; I see myself and I detest it. I hope my post puts you on the right track.
Don't end up a 90 year old regretting that he never had a chicken parm sandwich before the global financial collapse and subsequent sociopolitical upheaval made non-irradiated poultry and tomatoes a scarce commodity. Go get one.
>>
>>21942932
What do tomatoes have to do with anything?
>>
>>21942933
What do you think they make the marinara out of?
>>
>>21942766

The bread on these sandwiches are usually the rough, mouth scraping kind. I think I'd prefer a softer hoagie roll if I'm going to eat one.
>>
>>21942815
EGGPLANT parm sandwich instead.
>>
>>21942940
is it tastier
>>
>>21942815
>>21942940
rye or pumpernickel

>>
>>21943151
yes, although some places can screw it up by leaving the skin on or slicing it the wrong way

>>21943521
i've only had it on basic white italian sub rolls but pumpernickel would probably be okay
>>
>>21943527
well hopefully it's great
>>
>>21942932
readin all that
>>
>>21942932
I hope your job situation improves, is there an industry you’d like to work in? Better job will help massively with the other two things.
>>
>>21942795
It's oily, eating oil makes your poop greasy. I shouldn't have to explain basic cause and effect to you
>>
>>21942910
>grrrr carbs
Shut up loser
>>
>>21942766
Its been years since I've had one. Enjoy op.
>>
>>21942932
You're the guy that wrote the McChicken, Filet-o-fish, did one essay on either Irish food or chili if I remember correctly. I enjoy your style of writing - I just wanted to communicate that.
>>
>>21944472
Carbed
>>
>>21943527
only in New York they serve em?
>>
>>21944468
well how do the Italians tolerate it
>>
>>21945743

is that why i pee outta my ass? i use olive oil in EVERYTHING. also i'm an alcoholic. probably the olive oil?
>>
>>21945820
sounds like super powerful fart
>>
>>21944468
In my experience it depends on the type of fat. I don't have issues with olive oil but a lot of greasy beef will give me digestive issues.

>>21945820
It could be the olive oil but alcohol is known to cause that problem too especially if you're drinking beer or wine which can have hard to digest sugars on top of it.

Man, I miss the chickens parm I used to have back in Connecticut. Wethersfield Pizza House and Franklin Giant Grinder had the best ones.
>>
>>21945743
What the other anon said, there's a reason italians have a stereotype for being gross and greasy. They probably have oily shits too but it clearly comes out in their skin and hair as well
>>
>>21945820
Alcoholic shits are just really wet and smeary in the toilet and don't really congeal into a solid turd most of the time, it probably doesn't help but eating a fuckton of oil certainly doesn't either

>breaded chicken in bread
it's actually amazing yes
>>
>>21944472
>>21949870
I'm not against what other people like. Just seems excessive and is not to my tastes. I think for me if the chicken was breaded it would need to be a very thin layer that is nice and crisped. The full-on breaded one's are usually processed slop, think those chicken burger patties, so maybe that is what I dislike. This sandwich deserves real cut chicken breast.
>>
>>21942766
chicken parm is my favorite thing ever, as is the case for many people in new jersey, we're all fat and/or italian and/or jewish
we got facebook pages and shit dedicated to finding the best ones

that whole mixing pesto with red sauce seems really weird to me but i've never tried it... but you acnt go from with standard chicken parm, as in a pounded chicken cutlet with tomato sauce and mozarella, sandwich or platter it's all delicious

it's also good if you sub out the normal tomato/red/marinara sauce w/e u wanna call it, for Vodka sauce that's a combo that works but is obviously more rich and has a higher chance of making your poop messier due to the extra fat u know what im sayin?
>>21942932
literally me
>>
>>21949910
Like the frozen kind??
>>
>>21950004
Yeah, all the chicken parm sandwiches I have eaten used one of those vile patties. I'm sure one with quality ingredients is good.
