How legit is he? He has hundreds of testimonials, I know someone personally who has benefitted from raw meat and food.
>>
>>21943668
>Vonderplanitz was born John Richard Swigart
>raw carrot juice...within 10 days, the regimen ended his alleged dyslexia, and soon put his cancer in remission
not buying it
>>
>>21943701
Him changing his name doesn't discount the testimonials as I said. All the criticisms towards him are character-based. His character doesn't matter if his diet works as he says it does, which seems to be the case based on the testimonials.
>>
>>21943789
There are testimonials about all different kinds of diets. Vegetarian, fruitarian, breatharian. Why believe this guy and not the others?
>>
>>21943804
I can refute breatharians, in the fact many have falsified evidence in that circle, and at least two people have died as a result of that "diet."

Heres a video you can watch from people specifically who tried the primal diet out. This website is the best spot for info on him: https://aajonus.net/health-panel-experiences-from-primals-2001
>>
>>21943861
Ive no desire to watch any of that.
You refute breatharian, but not the others? In fact they are just 3 examples and i can name many more. Can you refute them all? Why dont you try to refute this vonderplanitz guy?
>>
>>21943871
If you dont want to watch or do research then I can't help you.

The others I can not, I'm not saying they dont have legitimacy, just asking others for any info or personal experience with the Primal Diet
>>
>>21943903
The thing about diet, is that different diets work for different people.
Try his diet, and be honest with yourself about how it makes you feel.
The number one problem is people deciding a diet is supposed to work for them, and letting it go on so long their health suffers.
IDK who this guy is, and I'm not going to research him, but it sounds retarded to say a diet fixed dyslexia. And if he's lying, why would I believe the testimonials he's presenting in support of his diet that he lied about?
Just don't be a retard
>>
>>21943903
But I did not ask for help so your help is not welcomed.
>The others I can not, I'm not saying they dont have legitimacy, just asking others for any info or personal experience with the Primal Diet
My guees is youre going to have some who say it works and some who say it doesnt. Basically the exact same as any other diet.
Do you feel like you need others permission to try this diet for yourself? Its not exactly hard to find an answer if you believe what this vonderplanitz person say is it?
I tell you what. If you try this diet and after 1 year find that it works wonderfully for you, you can come back here, post a screenshot of this thread, and call everyone in it (including me) an idiot.
>>
Look at his face. Take a good long look. You can just see how based this man is by his face. Whatever he says is probably true and correct.
>>
>>21943972
>I believe this guy because he turns me on
Are you a woman by any chance?
>>
>>21943986
No one said anything about sex or eroticism, filthy coomer.
>>
>>21943972
>>21943986
This is the face of a true primal gorilla male

>>21943921
You do not want to do research and do not want to be helped. Okay, thats fine :)
>>
>>21943668
>How legit is he?
For now there is no reason not to assume everyone on his diet will die.
>>
>>21943789
Him changing his name to something like that feels manipulative. The bizarre claims about him having cancer and being in hospice but carrot juice curing him makes it hard to believe anything else.

>He claimed to have discovered raw meat's putative healing capacity when fasting in the wilderness, where a pack of coyotes killed, tore open, and offered him a jackrabbit, then watched him until he ate it.
If someone is just constantly making wild claims it's reasonable to suspect everything else.

Is it possible some raw foods can be beneficial? Of course. I think raw milk probably does offer some benefits over pasteurized as long as you don't get food poisoning. But he didn't invent consumption of raw foods or the health claims. People have been eating raw meat for a long time. It may offer some benefits but it's not going to cure cancer and car accident trauma.

>if his diet works as he says it does
Well he's basically claiming it cures every health problem from paralysis to cancer. It can't possibly work the way he says it does. He just seems like yet another manipulative borderline cultlike hippy guru.

>His son... had been in a severe car wreck...Vonderplanitz claimed to have sabotaged his son's conventional medical treatment in Mercy Hospital's intensive care unit, and used raw foods to awaken and save his comatose son from imminent death, and to reverse his paralysis and brain damage...Vonderplanitz claimed his own protocol had cured over 200 clients of cancer...Around 2010, he claimed a higher-than-90 percent rate of cancer remission

You are like a missionary who goes around spreading the word, converting people to your faith.
In other word, an useful idiot.
Like i said, just 1 year, and you can come back here and laugh in my face. Will you do it? Or will it be more empty words?
>>
>>21944080
You're insulting me but you yourself said you didn't want my help and refuse to look into this so at this point why are you in my thread? Why'd you even post to begin with?

what kind of absolute retard believes this crap?

We still don't understand as much as we think we do about the human diet and variations in needs.

That doesn't mean his diet is going to cure cancer and make paralyzed car accident victims perfectly healthy again. This is just like religious preachers smacking people around so they walk again and claiming they have power to cure everything. It's selling you magic.

Modern diets are generally not great. More people probably have food intolerances than we realize and are sick because of that. Some people do well eating grains but a lot don't. Unusual diets can offer some people relief and I don't think we should dismiss that but try to figure out why.

It still doesn't mean the diet will cure cancer and make paralyzed people walk again. If you ask about the diet working the way he says it does, then no, that's impossible. If you ask can the diet possibly help some people with food issues, then maybe.

Aajonus Vonderplanitz died because he refused proper medical care after being severely injured, while claiming his diet prevented that from happening.
>>
>>21944089
>why are you in my thread?
Your thread started off asking about his legitimacy. If you just wanted to preach and convert then you shouldn't be dishonest about it.
>>
>>21944090
at least 1 mental case on /ck/
>>

Why do you feel the need to silence my voice? Is this a discussion or a cult?
I apologize if the word idiot made you feel insulted. Let me retract that and say that you spreading this guys information around and defending him, without trying his protocal on yourself first, seems a little... dangerous. Especially when his claims are so extraordinary.
Do you actually plan to do the diet? Id love nothing more than to be proven wrong. If we find a diet that can cure so many ailments, its a wonderful thing for humanity.
I dont think you will though. Just a feeling, correct me if im wrong.

You dont seem to understand how to verify a claim. If vonderplanitz were truly capable of what he said, he could simply bring a bench and some weights, a treadmill, and demonstrate all his claims in front of people. Then videotape it. Then whenever somebody ask for source, he can shove all that down their throats.
Did he do any of that? Or did it all come outta his ass?

This guy has the same vibes, that doesn’t mean I’m accusing him. The sentence you’re probably referring to is about the video i linked.
Are you him or one of his employees? You’re very defensive.
I’m a big fan of the AIP diet, but it wouldn’t hurt my feelings for someone to call it a scam. Buying a bunch of books/lessons/whatever about the AIP diet would be a scam desu
You can do any diet “for free”, just do it lol
