You're my only hope.I went shopping this morning and intended to buy some pork for breakfast sausage, and when I got home realised I bought pork/beef mix because I'm blind as a bat's cunt. What are some ideas that I can use this for?>inb4 bolognese I don't have any of the ingredients to make ballin' easy
>>21944078I make meatloaf out of this! And meatballs.Pretty tastyYou could also still make it sausage flavored and turn it into breakfast patties.
>>21944091I tend to be pretty picky about my breakfast sausage so I will buy pork just for that, but in the meantime I think meatballs are a good idea. I might even see if I can make some kind of meatball soup. I have limited veggies but I do have barley and various legumes. OH and instant mashed potatoes which I use to thicken soups
>>21944078if you're a weeb you can make hamburger steak or croquette. if you're not a weeb you can make meatloaf or meat balls.
>>21944140yeah I'm not a huib but those are some interesting options. I think I'm going to make little meatballs and cook them into a soop
my idea would be to make breakfast sausage with it anyway
>>21944078I suggest tacos. Chuck the meat into a pan, let brown on one side, add oregano, cumin seed, paprika, cayenne and chilli powder if you're so inclined. Serve on little soft tortillas with some lettuce and cheddar cheese. I myself am going to make this tonight with my leftover coles beef.
>>21944168mm that does sound nice. i have some leftover taco chicken and rice & beans that I'm going to make burritos with for lunch while my soup cooks, so I'll be taco'd out after that I think>>21944156nah I bought another package of pawk for my sausages. I'm picky about that
I have returned with my bean & barley meatball soup. It's delicious. I made a huge batch so I'll be freezing much it and then later I can add carrots, potatoes, greens, etc. For now though this was a good use of my misbegotten meat
>>21944368Looks very rich with flavor, great work
>>21944378thanks anon it is good. a red wine stock pot and a splash of dark mushroom soy together added another whole dimension
>>21944389what the hell is this product
>>21944392it's a red wine stock pot.
>>21944078Use breadcrumbs, egg, cumin, paprika, oregano, basil, garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well, form skinless sausages, pan-fry. There you go, poor man’s chevapi.
>>21944397this is wild
Idk bro, mince meat is a pretty niche ingredient with a lot of technical preparation involved. Maybe just eat it raw? With a cracked egg on top.
>>21944424This picture is peak vibes, what station is it? I assume somewhere far Northeast like Mernda or Hurstbridge?
>>21944482Blackburn, good pie country.
>>21944424>>21944496thai curry
What did you end up making, anon?
>>21944616meatball soop >>21944368it looks scant but actually it's quite thick and chunky with barley, rice, beans, legumes. It's practically porridge, I just didn't scoop from the bottom of the pot
>>21944078>Good for 2 yearsAustralia really is ahead of us in food preservation.
>>21944723>>Good for 2 yearshuh? That mince says it is only good til less than a week from now.
This meat is only licensed for Bolognese. Do not misuse it.
>>21944078Shepherd's pie. Chorizoficate it. Potstickers. Stuffed Bell Peppers.
>>21945441misbegotten meat becomes misused meat anon. I regret nothing
>>21944078>packaging made from recycled plasticGross.
