Man, remember when Panera was good and cozy?
>>

No, because it never was.

No. It was always fast food.
>>
>>21944997
Never had it. They just built one in the trendy new development near my house.
>>
Only incredibly stupid people eat at Panera. They literally see you the same kind of sandwiches you could make at home in 3 minutes with readily available ingredients, but with a 500% markup. I’ve heard people justify it with ‘their bread is better!’ but honestly the bread they use isn’t any better than what you could get at a grocer’s bakery department.

Their potato chips were always stale
>>

I've never been to a Panera. I'm not going to pay 12 dollars for a sandwich I can make at home. I'll pay for a philly or a Chicago beef or some other exotic sandwich. But I got turkey cheese and avocados at home.

No, it wasn't. It used to be called St Louis Bread Company, and they had great handmade soups, all sorts of fresh bread baked in house, a real deli that sliced meat and cheese fresh, and it was really fairly priced. THEN, they got bought out and it went to shit. You would have known this if you took 3 seconds to research it, but instead, you felt the need to open your fat, retarded mouth.

Their bread bowls are pretty good when you have a head cold

When Panera came to my town in Iowa it was a bit of a deal. They were better than fast food, they had bread bowls, it was a nice place to sit and relax with friends.

Then something happened and they're not good anymore.

remember when that girl’s heart exploded from the lemonade?
>>
>Panera now is only known for selling lemonade with enough caffiene in it to kill an elephant

This is from the last time I got Panera, it was 2018.

I don't even remember what the fuck I ordered but it was definitely not this piece of shit. I called the restaurant to complain and they told me they were out of most of the ingredients on what I ordered, so they just threw whatever they had left on some bread and called it a day.

they changed the recipe of the italian combo and ruined it and i will never forgive them or eat there again because of it
>>
>>21944997
Panera is overrated shit, only appealing to brainless females who have to buy $12.00 coffees from Starbucks every day
>>
I used to work at Paradise Cafe. Like Panera but much better, great bread, great COOKIES, good salads.
Had a great time.
Met the owner right after he sold it off to Panera though. He was old, fat, looked like he needed to retire. You could tell he was sad and worried about what they would do to his restaurants though :(
Panera stopped the 1 free on-shift meal policy and I quit.
Way back in 2012

oh man Paradise cookies are the best. I've seriously considered booking a trip to Dallas just to get some from their last remaining outpost.
>>
I don't remember when anything was good. The memories are too distant now. I have low standards and even lower expectations. I have only witnessed real time decay through the passage of my life.
>>
>>21944997
That is the driest looking sandwich I've ever seen.
>>
>Hey! Let's go get some bread!
This place is the ultimate white people restaurant.
>>
>>21944997
they sucked after great southern trendkill
>>
>>21945020
You're not supposed to eat at panera bread. You're supposed to buy a drink pass and go there to chill and do homework for hours while drinking 50 dollars worth of drinks every day.
>>
>>21944997
Folks don't like to admit it, but this was peak America. You could eat safe food among safe people and it was glorious
>>
>>21945742
Learn to cook and then you become the quality control. Hope this helps.

looked it up and it turns out there's also one in Aspen, CO. unsurprising that a place like that retains establishments of quality.
>>
>>21944997
Yeah man. The white girls at my high school loved panera and noodles and co (i didn't bang any of them obviously)
>>
