Where’s the best takeout place for tendies now? Best frozen grocery tendies?
>>21945603Find a restaurant supplier and buy 10lb cases. They may not even be any cheaper but they will be better quality.
>>21945603KFCs are good
>>2194559710/10 well done OP. You've done a much better job than many people on this board and we are all proud of you.
>>21945603>Where’s the best takeout place for tendies now?
>>21945603best frozen grocery tendies are these. the breading is a step above other brands and they come out similar to chicken fil et theyre kind of expensive tho
>>21945603Wendy's has the best tendies
>>21945675Usually anything in green packaging is ass but those actually look pretty decent.
>>21945675>fully cookedBy default, these cannot be the best frozen tendies
>>21945685I've never even seen frozen tenders that are breaded but arent fully cooked. can you provide an example? >>21945683the packaging is definitely low tier healthy option- coded but they dont taste like health food
>>21945597I'm a fan
>>21945701I buy these sometimes, I fry them in a fry daddy and they turn out really good. There are quite a few other brands
>>21945682They unironically do, they are the best fast food tenders since the selects. I just wish they had better dipping sauces
>>21945597costco chickmn nuggies + chick-fil-a sauce + potato smiles + air fryer = best autsim meal
>>21945701>I've never even seen frozen tenders that are breaded but arent fully cooked. can you provide an example?Even walmart has a store brand offering of that, and they really are better than anything precooked.
>>21945802if you're buying frozen beef/chicken, walmart really can't be beat. maybe costco if you're buying HUGE amounts for bulking. a bag of frozen chicken breasts at walmart is an unbeatable value. you can make 1000 dishes with just chicken breast
>>21945597worth buying raw tenders and making tendies or cost/time more efficient to buy frozen?
>>21945804They never come out as good as takeout, and the takeout honey mustard is always better somehow.
Spare yourself the greaseache for once in your life I beg you
>>21945906air frying frozen stuff for 10-15 min before you cook it does wonders
>>21945929What do you mean? Air fry and then throw in the oven?
>>21945932yep. or air fry + pan fry. works for frozen vegetables too. takes a LOT of the moisture out
>>21945935But an air fryer can crisp just as good as an oven
>>21945937you don't cook it all the way in the air fryer. just enough to defrost it and take the excess water out of whatever you're cooking. then you use oven or pan or grill to get it to your desired level of crispness. trust me, it works. throw your frozen shit in the air fryer for 10 min while you're chilling watching tv or whatever. then all you have to do is finish the job in the oven
>>21945942Air fryer temp? Also how long to cook in the oven after the 10 mins in the air fryer?
>>21945942Hear me out though, wouldn't putting the strips in on a low temp in the air fryer until they are thawed...and then cranking it up to crisp them up, essentially be the same thing?
>>21945942Just get a deep fryer. $20 of oil can be used for 6 months, then you have to clean it for an hour.
>>21945943i keep my air fryer at 350F. never even touch the temp. just the time dial. the time in the oven depends what you're cooking. i assume you're talking about frozen chicken breast, so i'd say 10-15 minutes in the oven at a 400F>>21945944in a pinch, you can absolutely air fry a meal. but i use it more as prep. it's a completely different texture/taste when you finish off in a pan or in the oven. that being said, if you locked me in a cell with nothing but a hot pot and an air fryer, i'd find a way to eat good. i always do.
>>21945945i'm trying to watch my weight. i'd fry everything imaginable if i had a fryer at home. i'm bad enough with late night snacking.
>>21945950If food is more nutritious you won't need to eat as much.
>>21945960>fried food>nutritiousburger education, ladies and gentlemen
>>21945966I lost 15 lbs eating fried tendies from my air fryer, just counted calories
>>21945802>18% solutioneven for pleb chicken that seems high
>>21945772>>21945802i did think it was odd that the fully cooked ones said i could just microwave them, since I've never seen that before. I'm going to have to start checking every brand now.>>21945903making anything with breading is always gonna be some level of hassle because you have to break out the flour and eggs and breadcrumbs and do that whole thing which always makes a mess. make from scratch when you see raw tendies on sale and you have time but theres nothing wrong with some frozen when you got the hankering.
>>21945966Yes, calories are the primary nutritient. There are also entire nutrients which are fat soluble meaning you need to eat fats to get them.
>>21945966>protein from chicken>carbs from breading>fat from oilAnd it pairs perfectly with the third mutilator for electrolytes to cover all of your bases.
>>21945597I miss the tendies from Cheddar's from 20 years ago. I've never tasted anything like them before or since. They had the most insanely crispy and flakey breading and a killer honey mustard sauce to go with them. Also cheap as fuck you would get a huge plate along with fries for like 5 or 6 dollars. Tried them a few years back and they were a sad shadow of what I remembered not even worth it. That's pretty much everything these days though.
>>21945903Making Fried chicken from scratch takes a lot of times and preparation, but it's worth it in th end.
I finally lrnd2 cook chikum tendies just this weekend, ez as fuck, plus they were rly good, didn't even got my hands dirty, just use a fork to bread them
>>21945672cane's is bland.sauce is copium no matter the application, save for italian food.

>>21946548Those tendies look better than anything KFC has though, including their tendies.
>>21947247ah the whole point was that people treat tendies like a special thing while looking down on niggers for liking fried chicken.
Id eat her chicken if you know what I mean??https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2bQ88Ci5p4
