how does /ck/ glaze their loaf?
Also glaze general i guess

for meatloaf i like to mix the following
ketchup
molasses
honey
a splash of tobasco
a few seasonings. whatever i feel like in the moment

let the loaf bake for awhile before adding the first coat. Once that has dried (before it burns) add another layer. this should be maybe 10 minutes before finished

anon, meatloaf is still very much a dish enjoyed and hated by many people in this nation
stop acting stupid for attention

I use ketchup with real sugar (no hfcs) and a little balsamic vinegar

I tend to just use bbq sauce. the typical glaze is a bit too sweet for me.
>>
I don't.
Gravy.
But your glaze is similar to my baked beans. Ketchup, molasses, strong vinegar, dry onion.

Chili sauce is better than just tomato paste or ketchup, and I typically enhance the spice with more mustard, allspice, worchestershire, cloves, ginger, etc, and add the brown sugar to help it cook down into the glaze. I hit it 3x, so last 20 mins of cooking reglaze over and over. I use the back of a spoon as a spreader.

Every now and again, I section up a whole pork loin, and stuff won tons and also make small asian meatloaves w/ minced green onions, mushrooms, water chestnuts and ginger. These guys are glazed with hoisin, 5 spice, or some combo of thai red chili paste or hot mango chutney. They freeze nicely for a meal down the road if you big batch them.
