I use ketchup with real sugar (no hfcs) and a little balsamic vinegar
>>21949996I tend to just use bbq sauce. the typical glaze is a bit too sweet for me.
I don't.Gravy.But your glaze is similar to my baked beans. Ketchup, molasses, strong vinegar, dry onion.
>>21950642Your beans taste like meatloaf
>>21949996got some in the oven right now, i just mixed barbecue sauce with a little vinegar, a little wuster, and a little garlic powder
>>21949996Growing up I think it was just tomato paste on top of the meatloafs (anyone that says “meatloaves” I’m gonna fite you)

>>21950009Just put the fries in the bag
3 tablespoons ketchup1 tablespoon honey1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
>>21949996Sweet baby rays is all I need, it just works.
>>21949996Chili sauce is better than just tomato paste or ketchup, and I typically enhance the spice with more mustard, allspice, worchestershire, cloves, ginger, etc, and add the brown sugar to help it cook down into the glaze. I hit it 3x, so last 20 mins of cooking reglaze over and over. I use the back of a spoon as a spreader.Every now and again, I section up a whole pork loin, and stuff won tons and also make small asian meatloaves w/ minced green onions, mushrooms, water chestnuts and ginger. These guys are glazed with hoisin, 5 spice, or some combo of thai red chili paste or hot mango chutney. They freeze nicely for a meal down the road if you big batch them.
