Jewish food is Central/Eastern European food done right and without all the gross stuff like pig rectums stuffed with congealed blood. Case in point, everyone goes to Jewish delis, they're everywhere in the cities, but nobody goes to German or Polish joints, there are hardly any to begin with.

Meh, lot's of euro non-jew delis are just as good if not better in my experience. Their biggest contribution to cuisine is lox and a schmear, that is delicious. Even then I would take some Pacific Northwest injun smoked salmon instead. Also in terms of bagels NY>Montreal>Jewish.
