How does anon fix their poverty pork? Was thinking about draining, seasoning and smoking.
>>21950524What form is it? Is it shredded or just one big piece? It's fully cooked so I don't think smoking it is the move.
>>21950527It says ground pork. The only other canned pork I've tried was one of those with no label, just says "Pork in juices" and it was trimmings.Hmm yeah, it might not take smoke. It was free so I'm just gonna experiment
>>21950524I'd just make some pork fried rice with that. I'd brown it separately in a pan before mixing in with the rice.
>>21950527I've not tried this brand, but a similar one out of curiosity. It's pretty disgusting; essentially braised ground pork. It has a paste-like texture and a high fat content and it tastes and smells like dogfood.
>>21950553>tastes and smells like dogfood.
>>21950524I bet it would be great in a strong sauce like chilli or curry. I'd probably make a spicy ragu sauce for pasta.I like the look of this "mapo ragu" recipe:https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1018404-mapo-ragu
>>21950524not sure if smoking it would be worth the effort.Since its canned all i can suggest is that you cook the hell out of it to remove the cat food taste
re-heat it with taco mix and make tacos or burritos
>>21950524Looks like a can of paint.
>>21952574Doesn't smell much better until cooked
