My friend who is actually a pretty alright cook got one of these and has been raving about it. I have always just used a stainless steel and cast iron for my cooking. Not going to lie, I kinda lost some respect for him after this purchase.

Any other anons tried this pan? Is it worth the hype?

They are good if you have no cooking talent and can't cook things without sticking because you suck
>>
Who cares, use whatever works for you

no that is a frying pan.
>>

>no rivets
enjoy tightening the screws on your pan every other day

>raving about it
Why? Like what does he like about it? How would it be better than say a tfal nonstick pan of the same size?
>>
>>21951832
It can be two things.
>>
>>21951800
just google it and try to find one good word about it. these pans are the worst of both worlds. combining the downsides of non stick with the downsides of stainless steel
>>
>>21951829
you don't seem to grasp what the item in the OP is but it's a frying pan. you put it over a fire and it gets really really hot and you make food hot inside of it too.

also OP it's a fucking pan. you aren't a cool guy because you cook in stainless any more than the faggots on /o/ are cool guys for driving a manual transmission. youre just a contrarian dork looking for nonsensical reasons to feel superior to their own "friends"

just get normal pan from IKEA
>>
>>21951800
They are ok. Basically overengineered pans for stupid people. All it really does is make it harder to scratch the pan so you end up eating less toxic teflon and plastic.
If you are a normal person you can just get regular teflon with no rivets and weird patterns and just not scratch the pan.
It doesn't really make that big of a difference. Teflon is always great for cooking and teflon pans always get ruined and need to be replaced.
Just buy it and replace it every two or three years.

no it cannot.

Teflon pans are just not good for people who have a family. Besides if I wanted to waste my time fussing i would get a cast iron.

I don't give a fuck about marketing "hype" I just think it's a neat concept. It's not better than my non-stick or steel pan but not worse either, and it looks cool and I enjoy using it
>>
>>21951800
I got one as a gift, it sucks. It's a nonstick pan that sticks. Just use stainless or an actual nonstick like a sane person.

mcdonald's burgers being grilled is the most unrealistic thing about this

OP here. Work on your reading comprehension, faggot. I don't own this pan.

Watch out if you use these in summer, you have to keep the windows closed, or put up a net. I was pan-frying a steak and a bunch of wasps showed up, clearly attracted by the honeycomb pattern. Alternatively use them at night, when the wasps can't see the pattern.
>>
>>21952634
yeah I meant nobody gives a fuck about your use of stainless and cast iron holy shit and you have the audacity to question my comprehension
