Level with me, /ck/. Is this stuff good for making a quick-and-dirty mac and cheese?
>>21952674>Is this stuff good it's good enough for (You)
>>21952674You literally mix cheese and cream in a pan is that really too hard for you?
>>21952674I tried the Deluxe Kraft Dinner with a sachet of velveta cheese sauce, which is probably the same thing as OPs pic.I didn't like it. Rather just have the powder stuff, or spend a few minutes to make a real beachmeal cheese sauce.
>>21952682shut up nerd
>>21952674If you want quick and dirty just mix some velveeta and any other cheese into some freshly boiled and drained macaroni. Add a little milk if it's too thick and a dab of mustard and hot sauce goes great in it.
I gagged. You are I C K Y!
>>21952674No. Cheese/cream sauces from jars always taste like chemical goo. Just use a few slices of processed cheese if you're desperate.
>>21952674Not worth it, TrustI’m a Mac connoisseurI’ve tried this for a quick and dirty Mac and it is not good. Extremely bland, and like others have said it has a chemical taste.Just melt some velvetta down with some cream, it’s wayyy better somehow
>>21952763I can’t believe you’re ragging on the goo>>21953414What are some of your favorites?
if you want quick and dirty, buy two boxes of the cheapest boxed mac and cheese and use both packets of powder for one box's worth of pastago a little light on the liquid too
What the fuck man just shred some cheese and mix it with heavy cream in a sauce pan on low heat. Or if you have time do a roux with butter, milk, cheese and seasoning and it'll blow away anything from a jar. Bonus your can mix in whatever the fuck you want, you ever tried buttermilk Mac and cheese? It's fucking crazy.
>>21952682>>21953494>OP asks about "quick-and-dirty" mac and cheese>you niggas want him to do it normallyYou might be able to make macaroni, but you sure as shit can't fucking read.
>>21953500>Two ingredients is too complicatedHoly fuck I can't
>>21953473For clarity, I’m a quick and dirty Mac connoisseur. This is all related to boxed Mac. I’ll make real Mac every once in a while, but it’s not worth the effort desu> mushroom and soy sauceCook down the mushrooms until caramelized, deglaze with a dash of shot sauce or tamari. Add to boxed Mac made with extra velvetta cubes thrown in> the classic hot dawg macI microwave smoked cheddar sausages, slice ‘em, add to Mac> bbq chickenUsing leftover chicken, shred it and add bbq sauce. Add to Mac with extra velvetta> plain but spiced up MacI was unfortunately gluten free for a while. Annie’s gf Mac was pretty bland, so i always either added some Dijon. Annie’s was O.K. made with their box instructions with yogurt and extra butter though.Being GF is how i found out ragu sucks btw. It was a hard time
>>21953518Those sound like good macs. I don’t think I’ve done mushrooms in mac and cheese before but that first one I’m gonna try out
>>21953524I hope you like it, it’s a really nice savory addition. Little slices of savory bombs>>21953518> either DijonI meant to include “or Tabasco”.
