Aw shit son. It's time to unclog this fucking sink.
>>
That looks dangerous anon. You should pay a professional. I know a guy, he charges a very reasonable $999.99 baseline for plumbing service (plus tip) I'll get you in contact.

>there's a snake in my drain!
>>
I'm gonna give you a piece of advice. A lot of times those snakes aren't connected right in the hub. If you go too far, it will fly down your pipe. Go slow as fuck and back out if need be.
>>
>>21956180
you just need a sink plunger, anon.
but please post updates.
>>
Pour a stockpot of boiling water down the drain. Let it sit for about half an hour, then do it again.
Most drain blockages are soap/fat build up.

It did the job. Drain is now fully cleared, had to use a back-and-forth motion to get the cord to press against the walls of the pipes as I pulled it back out.
I've done this before, but with a 25-foot model. But that didn't work, so I had to order this 50-foot one.

It didn't detach after being fully extended.

That might work if the clog allowed water to slowly trickle down the drain, which it was able to do in my case. But I tried boiling water, and it didn't work earlier. Whatever was built up in the sink was too thick.

Upon inspection of the end of the cord after finishing the job, it felt greasy. So it was fat buildup.

It looked like vaseline.

One advantage of PVC pipes is dumping pure lye in the sink and letting it melt the fuck outta anything in it's path without issues.

aww gross dude

I once got a drain unclogged using the old school volcano science experiment. Baking soda and vinegar baby!

To unclog a drain, pour 1/2 to 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of vinegar. Cover the drain with a plug for 5–15 minutes to contain the fizzing reaction, which breaks down grease and soap scum. Finally, flush with a pot of boiling water

I bought a small plumbing kit after that though, but maybe this info can help an anon one day.

Don’t do this if the waste pipes are copper, chrome plated copper, or possibly lead.
That chemical formulation, and the left over baking soda eats thru the waste pipes eventually killing the pipe or the pipe connections.
It’s probably fine if used on PVC or ABS waste pipes, but I would avoid the technique with metal waste pipes.

Does it even work at all? Vinegar and baking soda would just neutralize each other and create salty water.

whut?

You're expecting a decent reply in a thread where it started off with "aw shit son" like some gay pastiche of a darkened gentleman. It was always going to be pathetic

OP's wife's boyfriend flushing condoms again.

What are you not getting? Acid + base = neutral.
