Do we trust aspartame? I switched to zero sugar sodas around a year ago I think.
>>21956186i dont drink soda oftenpartially due to how artificial sweeteners dont taste nice :Cin my mind, surely there must be a downside, like with most sweeteners
I trust it more than high fructose corn syrup
Considering they have to stuff a rat full of like triple its body weight in aspartame to kill it, you'll probably be fine to have a couple cans of Coke Zero. It's gotta be less harmful than 40+ grams of sugar anyway.
>>21956186you're very chic, op
>>21956207You can stay alive and have negative effects. Most artificial sweeteners have been linked to digestive issues. Humans have been eating honey for a long time without issues. A lot of people today are sedentary with low nutrient diets. Food intolerances and allergies are likely underdiagnosed. It's complicated and sugar can be linked to problems sometimes, but if sugar is causing a problem it's likely because you're already sick from other things and sugar itself isn't the main cause of that.

>>21956186it's so easy to never drink a soda. "switching" from one to the other is an illusion of choice devised by the soda companies so they can retain the business of people who - if they had no diet option - might just quit buying soda completely.
>>21956223no u?
>>21956227It's not an illusion of choice unless there is no actual difference between the choices. One soda have many calories and the other does not so there is a difference between the choices. It's not an illusion of choice, it's just one additional choice because not drinking soda never stops being an option.
