I used to have a tankard I got at Knights of Columbus rummage sale. I would drink root beer out of it when I watched The Hobbit when I was a kid, like it was ale. It wasn't even really that fancy, but I sure miss that cup. Don't take things for granted, kids, for you'll never be able to buy nice things again.

I have some hand carved crystal drinking glasses. 100 bucks a pop. i dont drink a lot, but when i do i drink cheap liquor through an expensive glass.

used to have a pewter tankard, which was great until i put soda in it and it tarnished/became leeching toxic metals into everything. then got a stainless steel one but they're always cheap shitty construction and i couldn't find one with a flared bottom. now i just drink tea with a faggy teacup.

what i really liked about it was the wider base because dinking out of it the level would slow the further down you came so it felt like you were Thor in that myth where Loki challenges him to a drinking contest but the other end of the drinking horn was sitting in the ocean. also being metal it keeps the water a little cooler compared to glass due to heat conduction

When I used to get blasted drunk I'd end up refilling my tankard before it was empty, but I'd forget that I just did that so it felt like I had an ever refilling cup or beer
