Whats your next move anon?
>>21961644Here come the lawsuits
>>21961644I have an empty bag of these in my trash
plenty of foods have unsafe levels of lead and we just accept the fact and move on. I'm pretty sure I gave myself lead poisoning by eating chocolate protein bars every day for a year.
>>21961644Is it pronounced lead, or lead?
>>21961644i make my own
>>21961644it's always either walmart or kroger. how long can they keep getting away with this until someone forced them to stop using micronesian slave labor
>>21961667your lot code, bro?
>>21961689prices jump another 50%
>>21961644>say you consumed them>lawyer up>profit
>>21961692If someone had a bag, they could be in for a serious payday.
Nothing. Because I've literally never bought any frozen Great Value food of any kind with the exception of banana split ice cream sandwiches and maybe maybe maybe (but maybe not) a can of frozen juice concentrate.
Hahahha now where is that anon who was insisting that Great Value is just as good or better than brand names across the board? Probably dead from eating poison dino tendies.
>>21961644Didn't this just happen with them not too long ago with their frozen shrimp?
>>21961689Aldi and Lidl too.
>>21961688>>21961700fpbp>>21961705spbp
>>21961644>tfw i don't shop a shartmart>do nothing>keep winning
>>21961692You need proof that you bought them in order to be paid, and in order to be paid a SIGNIFICANT amount you need proof that you consumed them and it hurt you.
>>21961746fuck that, they accused me of eating tainted meat, prove i didn't
>>21961644i continue going on with my life because i'm not an obese flyover that only has access to wal-mart for 50 miles in any direction
>>21961644implying a safe level of lead...
>>21961850You have to define one because trace amounts of it are in everything. If you go for a zero tolerance policiy, well then you have at least some sunlight left to live.
>>21961687past tense
>>21961794I'm not sure what this board's obsession is with flyovers but I live in a flyover state and I have at least 10 different options in a 50 mile radius. Do you retards exclusively shop at dingy bodegas on the coasts or some shit?
>>21962037>at least 10 different options in a 50 mile radiuslmaoI have over two dozen in a two mile radius lolAnd I do mean supermarkets, not itty bitty corner shops. I wouldn't even be able to count all of those within that radius.
>>21962055I'm not counting cities like Louisville because I'm not traveling there to pick up eggs and milk. How often do you hit up more than 10 different supermarkets to do general shopping? No one does that shit retard. I bet you have two stores that you do 90% of your shopping at like everyone else.
>>21962037>I live in a flyover stateThen you should know of the existence of all the small towns where the only grocery store is Wal-Mart and the only restaurants are a smattering of national chains
>>21961738From my experience most of these situations happen in the east coast. I think they are still dealing with the centuries of factory and mass environmental exploitation. The flyovers you so despise mostly just farmed and have much less contamination of the environment in general.
>>21962065I like in a town of 20k and I have Aldi, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Jay C, and several other small discount stores. I have no real reason to travel outside of town for general groceries unless I want to drive 30 minutes to hit up a costco or some shit.
>>21961761No, you're accusing them of selling you tainted meat and you have to prove they did.
>>21962070The manufacturer of the affected nuggies is in Oklahoma so no, this is very much a flyover thing. Sorry to shatter your headcanon
>>21962070Here's some more information: it was a blue state's inspection practices that actually detected the lead. Ain't that something!
>>21961736that's not what that means
>>21962061Not two and certainly not 90%. Some stores are good for some things. Other stores for other things. With this many options (there's a three block span that has six different supermarkets on it for no good reason), it's quick and easy to hit up whichever store for whichever thing it's best for. >>21962072>costcoIs one of those six stores in that 4 block span. It shares a parking lot with a Sprouts. I never shop at either. Well, not never. The Sprouts is nice occasionally but it's not our main store. Costco is just not for us. They don't really impress me or my wife.To put it in perspective: my area could singlehandedly host a supermarket-themed scavenger hunt and still have people running into entirely new stores two blocks away they didn't know were there. Meanwhile, for someone in a flyover state, 50 miles might barely net them a Walmart and a Kroger. My grocery ecosystem is basically a microcosm of the continental US grocery map compressed into walking distance. That's not to mock you. Flyovers have so much space. So much quiet. So much greenery. There's a trade-off and I don't look down on someone for living in the heartland. I personally wouldn't do it but I understand why someone else might. Even the suburbs here are stacked; there's one suburb with a 100k population that we drive to for certain things that has six supermarkets within two miles of each other and, surprisingly, is much less pleasant to drive and park at than our area. Several of their supermarkets don't even have parking lots.
>>21962093>>21962096I said in general not this specific situation.
>>21962101>Aldi, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Jay C, and several other small discount storesI don't need anything more than that most of the time unless I'm looking for something hyper-specific at an Asian market or some crap and there are one of those 15 miles north of me. If you're hopping between 6+ grocery stores to do general shopping in a crowded inner city semi-regularly, you must not value your time very much. You seem to have this vision of rural America only having a single Walmart and there are certainly some places like that, but that hasn't really been the case where I live since the early 90s. Even back there, there were shitloads of small, local grocery stores in my town that were driven out of business once bigger places like Kroger, Target, etc started competing with shartmart. I miss those old joints.
>>21961644>unsafe levels of leadAs opposed to a safe level of lead?
>>21962107I'm sure that's what you meant
>>21962147>From my experience most of these situations happen in the east coastThat's literally what I said so yes.
>>21962126>You seem to have this vision of rural America only having a single WalmartI did my graduate work in rural America and yes, that's how it was where I lived but I'm not so ill-informed as to think every part of the rural US is like that. And I'm not saying we hit up a half dozen stores each trip. Yesterday, for example. I hit up three stores. Took me under an hour, on foot, to do so. I left the house at 2.23 and was back at 3.05. Got 2lbs of asparagus, a gallon of milk, a quarter pound of organic basil, a prime rib roast, a half gallon bottle of apple juice, a 1lb clamshell of campari tomatoes, some absolutely awful instant noodles my son and I had for lunch today with some greens, a 10pk of whole wheat tortillas, 2lbs of coffee beans and tampons for the missus. Driving might've taken less time but at that point, it would just shave minutes off. Not worth it.Anyway, three or four stores isn't terribly unusual and it's usually pretty quick.
>>21962070The only thing I miss about living on the coast is the availability of fresh seafood. When I lived in Louisiana, that shit was abundant and cheap. If I lived in NYC, I guarantee that I'd probably still be going to the same 3 - 4 supermarkets while occasionally hitting up a Mexican or Asian market just like I did when I lived in Chicago.
>>21962157Ok well just making sure you know you're wrong about this particular one.
>>21961644How much lead could they possibly contain that you'd need to seek medical attention? How could they get that much lead in the nugs?
>>21961644>Great Value There's your problem, lady.
>>21962202They have some ok stuff
>>21961644>unsafe levels of lead>talk to your healthcare providerwhy encourage this level of paranoiathere is literally nothing to do once it's consumed and the net effect is still way less than you would've absorbed by simply being alive 20 years ago let alone 40 years ago
>>21962621I’m going to the dr so I can document any symptoms and sue
>>21962157Just checking in, anon, to see if you understand you were wrong. Please kindly do the needful.
>>21961736
>>21963084I'm getting orgasmic pleasure knowing I've been living rent free in your head for an entire day. Thanks for the ego boost, I'm going to go ask out that cute checkout girl I've been eyeing for a while. I bet with my charisma in top shape she'll say yes for sure.
>>21963353Ok well just making sure you know you're wrong about this particular one. It’s completely okay to be wrong because it happens to everyone from time to time, and in your case maybe a lot more often, but it’s still how we grow.:^)
>>21963361Now that you've teased my balls I expect a follow up tomorrow. Don't let me down friend.
>>21963362Hey no shame in being wrong especially considering how often it must happen to you.I simply wanted to be sure you were at least aware of that.
>>21963366Please stop I can only get so erect. If you go any further I'll need child support.
>>21961690idk my mommy threw out the trash.
How do I sue or get free items from this?
>>21963392Does erect mean wrong in this context?Being wrong is understandable. Your ongoing commitment to it, however, is impressive. Do try for one correct thought per day.
The unsafe levels of lead is likely more nutritive/nutritious than the nuggets themselves.
