I am not a Luddite, would definitely try.
>>21964309can i still kill a cow?
>>21964309only if it's cheaper
If simulated illegal pornography is still illegal and unethical then simulated beef is still unethical
>>21964322nice, maybe i'll try it afterall
>>21964312Sure, why not? Its not about ethics, its about winning wars and having the healthiest well nourished protein fed population to curb stomp your enemies, see them driven before ya and hear the lamentations of their women.
>>21964309I don't trust food corporations not to add a cancer causing chemical to it, so no.
>>21964338Like in 99% of all available food items, animal medicine and crops for cattle.
>>21964309Dunno, never tried beef.Don't see what all the hype is about, I'm perfectly content with my lentil burgers.
>>21964348Me neither, I like pork though.
>>21964348>never tried beef.>Don't see what all the hype is aboutBecause you've never tried it, you fucking retard. You have to actually try a food if you want to even begin to understand why other people like it.
>>21964309>3D printed steak made from cow cellsthat's called a cow.the printer is the vagina.
>>21964466Not the point.
>>21964309Yes. Absolutely. For one thing it would make veganfags shut the fuck up.Another thing is that the population is probably going to need it as a protein source. You can eat plant proteins and live a long time, but societally, we cannot have it where meat is out of reach because then people are going to go out of their way to steal steaks and society will probably destabilize or some shit. Making it 10 dollars a lb is not the solution. Faux Meat like Impossible or Beyond is full of chemicals and fillers and is expensive. This shit will absolutely win a customer base over when texture improves, and most importantly, when cost goes below the cost of beef. Once that happens, people will move to it as a substitute for the real thing.>But how will people get over the fact it's grown in a lab and processed in a vat? What? You mean like Cheese, Citric Acid, MSG, Beer, Wine, Spirits, or Yogurt? Fuck off with that dumbass argument. All that shit and more are grown in vats, often using bacteria.
>>21964309absolutely
>>21964322??? regular beef isnt unethical
>>21964348>never tried beefholy third world...
>>21964309Will basically never be able to eat out again when this becomes standard. You just know all the fast food slop will adopt it first because it'll be cheap
>>21964309no, fuck that I guarantee it doesn't taste anything like real steakI would happily eat actual tissue grown in a lab, so long as it was inexpensive. But 3d printed food is never going to work, it's a dead end
>>21964309>I am not a LudditeEnjoy your cancer
>>21964309absolutely not
>>21964309I never tried plant based meat, but i guess i might try this just to find out how inferior it is to the real deal.
>>21964648what about left beef
>>21964309>I am not a LudditeYou should do some more research, because the Luddites were correct.
>>21964309If the cow cells were 3-d printed by the uterus of another cow, then yes.
>>21964309No. That's just shitty emulsified ground beef but more expensive.
>>21964466your biology could use some work, Anon
>>21964309For like 100 dollars? No.
>>21964309>Would you eat a 3D printed steak made from cow cells?no
>>21964606Veganfags will find another thing with which they can be obnoxious about.
>>21964309Fuck no, I'm fine with having regular beef and this is just a WEF-funded fad like bugs being farmed for human consumption was.>>21964708>Enjoy your cancer>He thinks cancer is the worst thing you could get from 3D-printed beef. The 90's called. They just wanted to remind you that bovine spongiform encephalopathy is easily spread to humans, has no cure, and is always fatal.
if it's the same nutritional value, health effect, same price of lower, yes
>>21965103you cant get prion diseases from printed beef. it's grown in a lab, it was never alive.
>>21964309isnt the mean in Campbells soups and other canned crap already 3d printed imitation meat?Their CEO got into hot water over it last year and everyone forgot about it a week later.
>>21965150Stop spending all your time on schizo conspiracy theory blogs, anon. 3d printed meat made from actual animal cells is still much more expensive to produce than the real thing.
>>21964309>trusting them to not practical cannibal joke insert human dna you
Would I go out of my way for it? NoIf it was made for me and given to me for free, maybe once
>>21965182
>>21965103Insect protein is healthy, I wouldnt mind if bread for instance is enriched with bug flour.
>>21965103WEF is based, you schizo.
absolutely not
>>21964309>would you eat beef that costs x16 more than regular beefif someone else is paying for it, sure, but that prices is murder>>21964606thats never going to happen, the amount of things you have to replicate that a body does is astronomical. youd have an easier time trying to invent a perpetual motion than trying to mimic blood vessels and all the work blood cells do, let alone the lungs, liver, kidneys, immune system, all of which has to run on electricity, something that will eventually crash due to a lack of fuel in the future, to be cheaper than just raising a cattle normally, because the cattle eats, drinks, breathes, fights off diseases for "free", not to mention the secondary products like milk and leather
>>21965687Not if you have to feed 1bn americans.
>>21964309I hate venture capital so much it's unreal
>>21964309for the experience and novelty of it? sure. as a regularl part of my diet? fuck no.
>>21965810Its probably healthier to eat 3d printed steak than eating ramen or other grain slop.
>>21965264some guy that had never seen a production line in his entire life made said some nonsense about it. this guy was hired straight into corporate. I work in production and this happens all the time. upper management literally does not know how the product is created because it has nothing to do with their jobs which are business decisions.
>>21965150No. It's processed in some way but people keep complaining about printed/cultured/lab-grown meat being in stores yet it's not actually available. It's still too expensive for use. People just don't know how highly processed and low quality a lot of meat is and now lab meat is being used as a scapegoat for that. Anyway I would try it if they can show that it's identical to real high quality meat, but it seems to be fairly low quality and they try to say it's a good thing because meat is unhealthy anyway so it missing certain things is actually good which I don't really believe.
>>21965281>>21965277$2.50 have been deposited into your account. Thank you for helping shape online discourse about the WEF. This will be helpful in encouraging Promising Young Leaders and helping us, and the world, reach it's goals.
>>21965142prions aren't alive and never were either. they come from protein, which presumably are also in the printed meat
>>21965779that doesnt change anything, in fact that makes things even worse, youre just putting more strain on the power grid, because lab meat doesnt scale
>>21964312Well where the hell else are you gonna get cow cells?
>>21964322>simulated illegal pornographyWhat do you mean by simulated? How do you make simulated porn?
>>21964309> I am not a Luddite, would definitely try.because you're a golem
>>21964309no i don't want cancer
>>21966149>having more indians under chinese influence is ... baaaasedFuck you, moron.
>>21966339drawn/animated
I don't believe we actually understand nutrition enough to make a meat substitute that isn't missing something crucial
