Easter has the worst food and worst candy of any holiday
>>
>>21964339
Nope. That'd be thanksgiving. I've witnessed the horror again and again.
>>
>>21964339
pic unrelated?
>>
>>21964339
Reese's "easter egg" peanut butter cups are the best of their entire line. Most peanut butter to chocolate, easiest shape to scrape the chocolate off of, no stupid indentations that trap chocolate in them.

I noticed this year that they redid the molds for ALL of their "special holiday shapes" and they are all worse than what they used to make, though. I hope it's related to their "ok we fucked up, we'll use real chocolate again as soon as we run out of the current crap" thing.
>>
>>21964339
I know you're baiting but deviled eggs are one of those foods where I can eat like 20 of them in one sitting and not even feel full, they're so fucking good and I genuinely cannot help myself whenever they're around
>>
>>21964349
seriously, i can only eat ~3 hard boiled/fried/scrambled eggs in one sitting without feeling sick, but deviled eggs i have consumed a full dozen (24 halves) and still craved more.
>>
>>21964349
this, OP is a faggot. Deviled eggs are fucking delicious. And you can tweak the recipe to be more to your tastes, to top it off. Also, is deviled eggs really even an Easter dish? I get they're EGGS but I usually have it around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
>>
>>21964339
you're objectively wrong.
arbor day has the worst.
>>
>>21964345
>easiest shape to scrape the chocolate off
you can just buy reese's peanut butter in a jar, anon.
it has been available for decades.

You gotta go slav with it. Kielbasa and stuffed cabbage and pierogi and rye bread and all that.
>>
>>21964349
mayo is nasty, anon.
stop being wrong.
>>
>>21964459
Mayo is eggs, oil, and lemon, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it and you're a toddler if you think there is
>>
>>21964339
I've always hated Jelly beans until Starburst fixed them.
>>
>>21964459
american soy bean oil mayo may be nasty. that's why they all eat fries with ketchup lol which is ridiculous if you've ever tried fries with good mayo
>>
>>21964536
>soybean oil
A bunch of brands use olive oil. It's advertised right on the jar. I think dipping fries in mayo is fucking gross. It sounds like something obese trailer trash would do.
>>
>>21964542
olive oil is even more retarded than soybean oil. nobody in their right mind would make mayo with it. it will just get bitter.
sunflower oil or canola oil are the only viable options
>>
>>21964548
It doesn't taste bitter to me. I've never eaten "bitter mayo" in my life.
>>
>>21964550
probably because it was neutral or fake olive oil (the most common kind when it's cheap). if you make mayo at home with real olive oil it will be overpowering or bitter
>>
>>21964560
Yeah, after googling the ingredients, those brands of mayo are actually using canola oil as the main ingredient. They have just enough olive oil in the recipe to use it for marketing purposes.

IN GERMANY we get a variety of filled chocolate eggs.

Your farts must be fucking rancid

>Let's just ignore all the pagan/Catholic shit where they eat dry bread.
>>
>>21964455
Why the HELL do slavs only stuff the white leaves? What the fuck is wrong with you "people"? The white has barely any flavour.
>>21964640
Yeah, we have Lidl in the rest of the world, too. Y'ain't special, Deutschbag.
>>
>>21964876
>The white has barely any flavour.
That's why they're the ones getting stuffed, anon.
>>
>>21964339
bros i just ate like 7 of these fuckin things. my doodoo hole is yelling racial slures. wat do?
>>
>>21964877
We stuff the green leaves in Italy and use the white leaves for other stuff, like crauti tirolesi (sauerkraut) or riso e verza, which is basically risotto for retards since it's stupid-simple to make.

German-based Lidl is inherently superior. The cabbage used for stuffing is usually fermented. The traditional recipes are ancient, and, being authentic, they, like many recipes, developed from necessity, such as using preserved ingredients. Not that you'd know about culinary history, Fartoli.
>>
>>21964455
I'm Slavic and this is what easter food looks like here
>>
>>21964349
Even one regular hard-boiled egg fills me to the brim. But I can eat a trillion deviled eggs. Stuffs weird.
>>
>>21965423
That's the appetizer. The main Easter meal is always roast lamb and pork.

Well "slavic" encompasses a ton of different countries and cultures. The Polish colleague I used to have never did lamb at Easter, just porky things. Cold smoked kielbasa was the star of the show
>>
>>21965613
>Polish
Makes sense. In Serbia we have to suffer through a hellish Lent where we eat nothing but pathetic faggot vegan food. When it's finally Easter we go wild with meat.
>>
Im just going to give a counterpoint. I love Deviled eggs, I customize them to the perfect taste, but at holidays they are made with miracle whip. I can see why people don't like them.
>>
>>21965391
Yawn. Alberto Grandi is a charlatan. His "research" is non-existent. Had you actually read anything he's written rather than articles about it, you'd have known that. Unsurprising that a larping Turk has not actually read what he references. Not that you'd know about culinary history, Mehmet.
>>
pious eggs will overcome your satanic rituals
>>
>>21964339
>leg of lamb
>roast potatoes
>green peas
>pickled red cabbage
>liquorice/chocolate eggs for dessert
You're just an Ameripleb who doesn't even get Easter off
>>
>>21965864
>His "research" is non-existent
can't research what doesn't exist (italian "cuisine") LMAO
>>
>>21964340
that's just a skill issue, not a problem with the holiday menu itself.
>>
>>21964542
read the ingredients. the first ingredient is always soybean then they add some squirt of olive oil later.
>>
Something from Easter dinner didn't sit right with me, boys. Might have been the 300 deviled eggs I ate. Might have been the ghost pepper cheese I was snacking on before dinner. But either way, I was PISSING outta my ass this morning
>>
>>21964345
that doesn't make any sense though. it would be like Microsoft releasing the office suite on OSX. The point is to sell a little bit of peanut butter, as a small, individually wrapped candy.
