Are there any cheap and easy to digest foods other than milk? I drink over half a gallon of milk a day but I'm worried about the saturated fat, and I generally struggle to digest fat in general. My alternative is like, rice, lentils, and ground turkey or chicken. But it's very hard for me to eat 2500 calories of rice and lentils a day. Maybe like, oat or soy milk with whey protein added to it?
Eggs
>>21967310I can't eat whole eggs because of the fat but I can eat egg whites which I buy in cartons. However I don't consider them super easy to digest like milk which exits my stomach in like a half hour. Egg whites usually take like 2 hours to leave my stomach.
>>21967314>milk which exits my stomach in like a half hourMilk is liquid but once it hits your stomach is separates into curds and that takes longer to digest. I wouldn't worry about saturated fat unless you know you have a cholesterol problem or something. Things like fat and sugar aren't really an issue if you maintain a healthy weight as well. You're going to struggle to get enough calories if you're limiting fat so much since fat has the most calories per gram. Peanut butter could be a good option though.
potatoes.. or other toes
>>21967314Whole eggs aren't all that fatty as long as you don't cook them in a fat. And that includes non stick spray. You can even microwave them in a bowl or whatever as long you watch them to make sure they don't pop.
>>21967314>milk which exits my stomach in like a half hourNot possible. Stomach acids curdle the casein in milk into a solid, guaranteeing that it will take several hours to process.
>>21967309I hate these threads, just go to a dietitian if your so fucked up. Fruits, veggies, potatoes, pasta, pork tenderloin, fish.. it's not that hard anon.
>>21967309>and I generally struggle to digest fat in generalAll types of fat? I have issues if I consume a lot of animal fat especially from fatty meat. Less issues with dairy and eggs and pretty much zero issues with plant fats.If you struggle with all kinds of fat to that extent you might want to see if you have low bile or something, or try having more fiber so it slows down digestion.
OP most people digest animal fats and proteins easily and efficiently. It's often the plant based fats and proteins that are slowest like beans, corn, oats, and soy. Especially those supposed incomplete proteins that are rich in fiber.

There are a lot of complaints with people on keto/carnivore having diarrhea from lard and tallow. Most plant fats remain liquid which makes them easier to digest.
>>21967317I just feel less laden when drinking milk as opposed to eating. I know I struggle to gain weight as solid foods give me nausea for hours.>>21967319My stomach just gets really fucked if I eat whole eggs as opposed to egg whites so I avoid whole eggs>>21967321I just feel much better drinking milk than eating pretty much any solid food I've encountered and the fatter the food the worse I feel>>21967325I've been to many doctors I just am curious if anyone has any novel ideas I haven't attempted>>21967326even salmon really fucks me up for hours because of the fat. I don't know why i can drink milk without issue but it's like the only way I can eat fat without suffering horrible indigestion
>>21967405Ice cream?
>>21967405I've had similar experiences. Have you had allergy tests done? I have issues with grains/nuts/legumes and once I stopped eating them my digestion improved. You might also have low stomach acid which could be caused by various things but I'd probably look into food allergies first.
>>21967592OP might also be hyper vigilant or feel like he's in danger causing his metabolism to be slow. Going through any major life changes, OP?
>>21967309>saturated fat bad because....THEY said so!!!!
